There is a perfect MMORPG?

SyncelSyncel Member UncommonPosts: 4
Good morning, i come once again to hear from all of you about MMORPG. I'm sorry for my bad english.

I play almost ten years of MMORPG, and after all this time, college, university, marriage and work, i believe not find a MMORPG that hold me for over a month.

To start i will explain the MMORPG i've ever played in my life, some were outstanding, others just flashed before my eyes.

My first game was Tibia, o God, how i loved this game, sometimes even return to play, and play for a few weeks, and stop too. Problems with developers and their lack of care with bots, golds sellers, etc.

After the Tibia, i played Lineage 2, seriously, it was one of the best MMORPG i played, possessed a great PvE / PvP, the craft system and farm was really helpful, just like any game, after a few years i ended up stopping.

These two mentioned above, is best MMORPG i've played, none compares them to me.

After that, I played many random games, MU, Perfect World, Silkroad, Rohan, Tera and others, i can not remember all.

Then I met the World of Warcraft, I was a great, played for about two years.

Except that even though World of Wacraft, despite having a great manager, some things in the game turned me off, like life bar with 1 million points, huge damage, among others.

I know this is not the real problem in the game, but i can't play after the Mists of Pandaria.

Then I started to play Guild Wars 2, and I'm playing at the time, just even being a great game, is somewhat casual, I like games like that, but you do not have a certain goal, which ends up discouraging who was accustomed to farm and more hardcore stuff.

Tried FFXIV, only after Guild Wars 2 is a bit hard to play something tab-target, not that it bothers me a lot, but another problem I have is how much friendship in games, I do not have any at the moment, and I believe that FFXIV is a great game as long as they play with friends.

Could you help me pick a game? give me some light, I must continue in Guild Wars 2 or retry the FFXIV?

I believe that at the moment there is no more complete game that FFXIV, is there? ArcheAge tried to play and did not like, was the same thing with The Elder Scrolls Online, there are many games that have tested, but I do not remember everyone.

Thanks for the help of all.

You didnt mention whether you tried EVE, even if you have, with a month's free trial now give it another go, but try to find a corp to help show you the ropes.

    Hm...

For me, FFXIV is the best new MMORPG out right now. My opinion is a little different than yours though, because I feel like the game is very friendly to solo players. I am very interested in storylines and stuff like that though. So if you can afford it, I would personally say that FFXIV is a great choice.

Guild Wars 2 is even more fun these days with the action camera, but again you will need money to purchase the new expansion pack.

Wildstar is actually a lot of fun, but I haven't played it in a few months, so I don't know the current state of the game. But it is free-to-play now, so you have nothing to lose )except time) by trying it.

Blade and Soul is coming to North America in January, so you might want to research that and see if it is something you're interested in.

Eve Online is and AMAZING game, and I've been playing it for a long time, but it is not a fantasy game, and it requires you to use your brain, so consider that before trying it :P. It is a really unique game.

I also enjoy playing TERA, but the community is terrible, so it's hard for me to recommend it.

These are the games I have the most experience with, but I have also heard good things about Skyforge, although I have never played it myself.

    I hope this helps  :).

It really comes down to what type of player you are and what long term goals you want from a game. From many accounts, GW2 base game is pretty solo-friendly but the expansion is pretty group oriented. For FFXIV, you'll do a bit of grouping but probably more on the short term end unless you get a free company (guild) that is active towards new people. If you're looking for a heavy social aspect between the two games, I would say FFXIV is better equipped than GW2 from a social perspective, since you have quite a few ways to interact with people, such as free companies mentioned earlier but also linkshells which are kind of like small 'chat rooms' or guilds with no in-game benefits that you can use to talk with up to 100~ ppl and you can have 8 of them. So even if you join a free company for your friends, you can still have various linkshells to talk with other people outside of your free company for whatever you want, such as in game events, roleplaying, etc.

    Thanks all for the replys.

I'm inclined to say, i'll be in Guild Wars 2 or FFXIV.

Like i said, i don't like to play anything alone, now i'm waiting for a friend to him test the FFXIV and tell me if he like it.

If he likes, i'll play FFXIV, if he dont like i'll keep in Guild Wars 2 to be a more casual game.

Thanks again and sorry about my english.
