can horde and alliance players play together?

I like playing as a troll, but i hate the enviroment that the horde is in and i hate playing with orcs and taurens

Is it possible to be a troll and play with alliance characters? I imagine that on some server types its all out war between the 2 factions but is their a freindly one?

    There are PvE servers, but horde cannot team up with alliance actively. You dont have open PvP but they are still enemies, and will attack each other if triggered for PvP (by attacking realm NPCs, healing friend who was already triggered for PvP...)

    I wish Bliz would make a coop server just like DAOC, where opposing factions CAN group, complete quests etc etc. I would love to do all the dwarven/human quests as undead

    I am the type of player where I like to do everything and anything from time to time.
