How many MMORPGs do you have installed?

Zero unless you want to count warthunder which I would not. Your poll should have had none or zero imo. Its funny how these kind of polls always make the assumption that everyone here is actually currently playing an mmo.

Then this poll isn't for you if you have zero MMOs installed. So it's really not funny, just stupid on your part to think you should be apart of something that doesn't involve you when you do not partake in it.

That's the only MMO everyone really needs anyway. AMIRITE? lol :P Your wife hasn't tried to bring you to the dark side yet or has it failed?

over 5 and i play non! there are no mmo's out there that grab my attention ever since darkfall online but that failed so yea im stuck with nothing

I don't get why people are like that. It is everywhere too. I hate it when you open a thread that says "Your top 5 MMO's of 2015" and inevitably some guy has to pop in and say "Well I am bored of MMO's so I've been playing Diablo, Fifa, Candy Crush Saga...."

Not really. I read MMO news daily, follow no less than 6 upcoming MMOs, and try a few every year. MMORPG is my favorite genre, yet I have none installed.

The poll is obviously to reflect how how enthusiastic people currently are about the genre, and a zero option allows me to do so.

Heh, naw i played long ago, but not since i quit last time. Think gw2 was last one i played. But was less than a month i lasted there.

That is easy to asnwer.  Not everyone is happy ape shit about the state of MMORPGs today.  If the OP wanted to hear only from the happy ape shit crowd, they should have stated, "For those who PLAY MMOs...", otherwise this is an open, general thread as are many of the others.

I have zero installed and wish I had at least one.  Hope you, at least, are happy.

17... but only 7-8 of those are updated / played reguraly. And 3 of the rest are even cancelled, but since I don't need the space at the moment, I haven't uninstalled them - and who knows, maybe later if I'll have some time I can play around with their clients. I mean, no TOS for those anymore, so...

21 installed
(28 if you add the multiplayer games a la War Thunder, Planetside 2 etc.)

about 1/3 being played actively on rotation as the mood takes me (e.g. EVE, SWTOR, LOTRO, E-D etc.).
Often -when the companies had the option - i have lifetime accounts.

Many are waiting on Steam, with 1-3 days worth of gaming as I checked them out. May come back to them when they are less buggy/more complete/improved grafics. About half a dozen new ones are may-be's. I have added quite a few MMO's that converted to F2P in the last 2 years.

Some are still installed, but have (officially) ended  ( a la Star Wars Galaxies, Warhammer Online etc.)
There are ... options ;-)

This may sound much, but these days I am a casual gamer with limited time (so no raids, no intense guild activity/roles anymore) ... so ... in absolute man-hours ... less than what i played EVE during the ASCN-BoB war.

installed ... does not mean much. I have a big enough hard disk that i seldom take games out. So if i try a MMO for 5 min and still leave it "installed" ... does it matter?

I think it's understood that by "installed" the OP really means - actively play at least once a month or every once in a while.

Games I never intend to play again I uninstall, I have a feeling most do the same.

well ... given some posters are counting games icons on their desktop, i don't think it is understood. In fact, how do you know he meant "once a month", not "once a week", or not "once a day".

Either he meant "installed" literally, or he should explain. Heck, i thought people here like literally interpretation of language.

To be honest is only half true.

I have installed WoW because I pop in from time to time to check if I can get hooked again but never happens.
Same for EQ.
But I have good memories of those games and I keep them in my hardrive just in case.

At the moment I am playing EQ2 progression server, but as soon as it gets to ROK expansion I will probably quit, but I will leave it on my hardrive.

Probably the title should say "How many MMOs are you playing at the moment.
