This might be a nice media take for RED 5 but it doesn't really tell the whole story either. So you rip off some employees their wages, then lay them off, take what little you have from ripping off employees and give SOME money to the rest remaining.I say SOME because saying you will pay this this week does not mean you are paying ALL backpay as well,it also does not mean you are paying the full amount either.
Developers and their spokesmen are just real good at wording media statements to make themselves look good but often avoid the real truth or whole story, just ask CR about dancing around the truthful answers to questions.Just ask all the developers whom top level employees mysteriously out of nowhere are leaving ,there is a lot more truth than what we actually hear from spokesmen.
Never forget 3 mile Island and never trust a government official or company spokesman.

This game could have been one of the best games out there but the devs screwed it up when they kept making changes, the game in the beginning was awesome it just needed more content. But what do I know I was just one of the founders.
Same I was a day one founder as well and loved the game until they changed the very core dynamic into something unrecognizable.
UPDATE: (DEC 30): GOOD NEWS! According to Gamers-Haven.org, Red 5 employees will be paid on December 30th after the company missed last week's payroll deadline. However the same report indicates that "according to reliable source inside the company" several employees were let go last week and, as with layoffs at the end of November, did not receive severance packages.
So, rather than address the fact that this information is based on the same Reddit post that has since been discredited and removed... you have chosen just to delete any post pointing this small (but important) fact out?
Props to MMORPG's Journalists being a lot more professional on this matter than Teh9's proxying of Red5 has sadly been over the past few months. I swear the process that chooses the "Suits" for this industry feels like there's no Vetting process at all compared to the increasingly stringent ones required for Writers, Journalists, and Producers
