So- as you all can se I have been a part of this great site for a few years now. And in all my time here, I was able to say what ever I wanted in regards to how i felt about a studio and a game.

    You could of voiced your views way more constructed and appropriately.

    Cursing at people on pretty much any forums will get you a warning or worse.

    The system here is complaint driven unless a moderator accidentally stumbles on a post and decides to moderate it all by him/herself.

    Much worse offences often don't get moderated if no one reports them.

    It's more than fair,  you are allowed to feel and express yourself. Cursing however is completely unasked for and your frustrations can be expressed in way better ways.  If you'd be doing it multiple times then even a ban is in order since your behavior does not contribute to the well-being of the website.

    I've had more than my fair share of moderation in my time so I can speak from experience here.  What you posted was not even debatable as far as moderation goes.  You can't tell people to "suck your dick" and call them "cousin-fucking-retards".  Well you can, and you did, but then you need to take the repercussions as well.

    See now THAT is not fair either.  The moderators can and obviously (see OP) do address people who step over the line.  This place allows folks with differing opinions to post.  Because someone dislikes your game does not make them trash. Heck, I'm a Star Citizen fan myself (at least the Squadron 42 part).  Just don't tie your personal identity to the game and you will be fine.  Once you start to get personally offended because someone is criticizing a game you are going down a dark path.   Anger leads to hate, hate leads to suffering, suffering leads... well you get it.

    If I get a Ban its fine- I am not here to write all the time, I enjoy the site for its news and insight into a genre that I LOVE! I know that my language is faul, heck even in real life and on my guild TS I have been warned a few times- but hey that is my personalty and I for one will not change who I am. Next time i will be more constructive and wont use the F words and well more F words- but will try to stay civil.

    You should not use language like that and if anyone complains they will deal with you.

    I think you can complain about SC all you want just as long as you use constructive and abuse/foul free language. I cannot see the justification for the language you used.

    Also I do believe discussing moderation on these boards is also a bannable thing.

    Jonbonjawa even if it is as you say any game that opens itself out and are trying to solicit funds can and will receive this type of scrutiny. There is no harm in people discussing these topics as long as they do so within the bounds of the rules of this boards. You cannot simply stifle discussion because it does not suit you.

    2. what is going on here is far more than a "dislike", it´s an organized crusade by a few individuals who do this on a daily basis over several months, obsessed psychopathic behaviour which goes well beyond trolling.
    It only goes as far as you allow it to. If there are 3 people who's opinions are so bothersome to you, use the IGNORE feature and bypass all their posts.  Don't take it personally.

    Well you did use a term that shouldn't be on these forums.  I agree you should have been warned and now you need to quit saying things like suck my "****".

    One does not simply discuss forum moderation in said forum.

    They will ban your account, your email, & your IP address. I recommend you change the OP to an apology letter to the community. It would do your soul some good.

    If all your posts are that colorful I am surprised you have not gotten more warnings. Even temp bans. My guess is you got lucky and no one cared to report you.

    Unfair ?

    That kind of foul-mouthed rubbish deserves a 30-day ban at the very least. If there were prior offences, I'd go for a permaban.
