Factions, Server Types, etc questions

Haven't seen this talked about, so forgive if I missed it somewhere obvious.
1. Are there factions in this game? If so, how many, how are they divided up, and what are the interaction limitations and features?
2. There's pvp right? How does that work? Any zones devoted to it? etc
3. Are there official server types, like RP, PvP, etc?
4. How does the guild system work? Are you allowed multiple guilds, or just one, and what are guild features that solo players can't do?
5. What kind of character advancement? I know gear is involved due to some controversy at higher levels, but is this a game where you level to XX then start endgame?
