sick of WoW clones because they have become too mainstream? and/or just, too streamlined?
when I first started playing World of Warcraft, which wasn't until about 2009. it still had weapon stats. like, equip a sword and use it so many times till you get to lvl 100 with it.
it also had languages. and if you went to an enemy or even a different races territory there would be gibberish in chat.
im sure there a quite a few more nuances the game had that don't exist anymore. a lot of people call it "the dumbing down of WoW". but, is it really a dumbing down? or just developers getting lazy?
recent games don't offer those little nuances that made me really really really like playing WoW. maybe that's why I am uninterested now. people just don't take the time.

Yeah, maybe this is just nostalgia, but I don't know. I think I'd actually be interested in a new game that plays out like Vanilla WoW. Anything before WoW 2.3.
