Given the ever-expanding remit of this site, I am not sure if the above is suitable for discussion, since it is an episodic point and click adventure, but sod it. I bought this game on a whim a couple of days ago, and have played it solidly through to conclusion. It has the accolade of being the only game that has ever elicited real tears from me. It is on sale now on Steam and anyone with an itch for a new game should give it a go; I cannot recommend it highly enough.

I would note that some of the early knowingly trendy and angsty dialogue will be a little cringe inducing for anyone beyond their teenage years. Fortunately this is only an issue in the first episode, and I urge anyone who is off-put by this to stick with it. Despite first appearances it is not just a high school drama, it goes far beyond that.

Since any game that supports any kind of multiplayer, even 4 player co-op, is now considered an MMO, I think your good.  I think even a single player only game is now considered an MMO if more than one person is playing it simultaneously and they have a connection to the internet.

I didn't mind it.  I think it was done as part of the setting.  Sort of like how a movie sets up a seemingly normal, every day life situation before completely turning it on its head with something incredible happening.

Episode 1 was great. 2-5 not so much. Lots of reused content and mindless puzzles and mini games. Rewind Rewind Rewind... that is not a puzzle.

If I were to be critical, I would say that it felt as if the story reached a natural conclusion early in Episode 5, but it then proceeds through multiple endings that have the effect of devaluing some of what went before. This is a real shame as the conclusion is the weakest part of the game, and becomes overlong and drawn-out. There are several chapters in the middle of this episode that could and should have been cut for brevity and impact.

1 through 4, and the start and end of 5, I enjoyed though.

I played for a bit and almost quit because it felt like emo high school simulator.  I am glad I stuck it out.  There was some read depth.

This area of the forum is for any "other" game I believe if I read the description right.  Often people in the community will want to ask people with like experiences about other things. . like in the hardware section.

General gaming is for any games - no need to apologize. And yes, it's a very good game.

Just a few hours in to episode 1.  All this high school angst is getting to me. I hope it picks up.  Not sure how much more I can take. Maybe Im just too old for this game.

Honestly, I nearly quit during Episode 1. Don't, it is not representative of the rest of the game.
