Lets hope they stay on track. Develop a single player game then later add multi player. Build up interest in the single player first before sinking time and money into a mmo. That's what killed Kingdoms of Almur the reckoning.
did I mention this game has Very Relaxing Enjoyable music ???
Great music in this game some of the most relaxing music in a RPG and I don't know why hahah
Well i am not saying i know this is a Jrpg but they tend to have nice music in their games. I tried to do some research ,seems this game does have some website and talk in JPN so it could very well be a JRPG.However it is a chore to design the music to fit the themes, example a walk around should be soft and relaxing while the battle music should be faster, driving type music.
As to the 10 year development cycle, only thing i seemed to come across was the game is a somewhat 2009 game.I think what that really means is they likely started on some concept art and stuff before actually calling it a game design, likely 2007/2008 as the actual start of the game.
Apparently the title Ninelives is the code name for the Unity engine and the Unity Engine began in 2005,so it is not a far fetched assumption that this game may have been at least a concept design dating back to 2005.
Never forget 3 mile Island and never trust a government official or company spokesman.
