I'm looking for a new MMORPG that is similar to Lineage 2 but with more recent graphics.

Good morning all,
It's been many many years that I'm waiting for a game to replace my favorite one (Lineage 2).   I haven't found one yet...  i was hopping I could get some sugestions, there is maybe a game I didn't hear about that is what I'm looking for.   I'm looking at the same kind of game but with more recent graphics.  If possible with dark elves, love them :)
I saw a while back Bless online that really look impressive and what i'm looking for but it doesn't seem to come to North Ameria...
Thank you!

Archeage would have been a great option ... but its to P2W ...

Darkfall UW ... but it seems to not have a strong enough community  backing it ..

Black Desert Online .. but it seems to be standing on a slippery cash shop slope .. so i am wait to see ...

Aion ... if you havent tried it ...

i assume you are looking for an mmo similar to what l2 was before goddess, well then good luck with that :/
nothing comes close to what lineage 2 was back in those days.
it will always lack something that made l2 stand apart from the rest of the mmos.
plus there is also a huge part of nostalgia that kinda distort your view on the game (it was hella grindy ! which is fine when you are young with a lot of spare time but impossible to manage when adulthood and job/family gets in the way)
anyways if you find something close to it, pm me :D

For Aion, I didn't like the idea that you have wings and could fly...

ArchAge 2.0 seems to be fun.

DarkFall seems fun too but the graphics appear a bit outdated...

Black Desert Online looks really nice but it's not out yet...

Did anyone tried Dragons Dogma: Dark Arisen?  of Skyrim Online? Are they any good?

Why do ppl always come up with Aion when someone is looking for a MMO that's like L2? Aion is NOTHING like L2 at all and more like WoW...

That being said... ArcheAge and Black Desert indeed are the two to choose from (never played DarkFall, but that's way too sandboxy compared to L2).
AA is okay but (as said) heavily P2W through the cash shop and patron (subscription) system. It's clearly build to force you into patron or miss most of the game that's related to trading. On the other hand though, you can experience part of the trading through PvP and stealing trade packs.
BDO, though not released yet, has NO 'slippery cash shop slope'. Okay, it might go F2P in the end, but GW2 had the same (B2P+CS) at launch. Having played BDO during CBT1 and being a L2 vet as well, I certainly can recommend it as substitute for L2. If you're in doubt, check twitch for streams (past ones and during next CBT) or YouTube to watch gameplay videos.
