As far as MMORPGs go, B&S does things quite well. The combat is fluid and offers enough variety and diversity when the combos come into play, the graphics are well above average, the story line is engaging enough, and it features game mechanics that pretty much cover the spectrum of need. If your complaint is that you simply don't like Asian themed games, well we all knew that going in. Its not like they advertised it as anything other than an Asian game. Everything else about the game is standard MMORPG game play fundamental to an MMORPG game. If people started taking them for what they are, instead of trying to change them into something they are not, then perhaps we could move on and stop it with all of this negative nancy criticism. MMORPGs are about journey and immersion.
They are about slowing down and enjoying a story line. Completing quests are just one of the functions that allows a player to "role play" their character and immerse themselves in the story line and the game. If you are the type of player that is unable to creatively "immerse" yourself in a game, and your only purpose is win or lose in PvP combat type game play, then you will have a very difficult time enjoying MMORPG game play. I really feel that the main reason many players are unable to enjoy an MMORPG is because they don't know the meaning of MMORPG, much less how they play. You have to play the genre for what it is. It has its strengths and weaknesses. It can not, and should not, be expected to compete with other video game genres in their field of strengths (Ie., FPS, MOBAS, PvP). If that is your expectation, then MMORPGs will always fall short.
I get that Barbie's proportions are considered humanly impossible, but these girls hardly even resemble what I would call human(oid). And no, they are not appealing to me.

Barbies proportions are completely humanly possible. Barbies proportions aren't even abnormal, that's what a healthy person should look like if they didn't eat snickers all day.
Humans should be lean and fit.
Barbie does not differ much from medical slides of healthy human beings:
And even the most boobylicious Blade & Soul characters have natural counterparts.
Haruna hana her breasts are natural, not everyone is born with an A cup you know.
What IS abnormal, is pretending that people who are considered clinically obese...should be the new norm.
No thank you, it is neither attractive or healthy to be obese.
My question is more how the game is still growing in Asia for the future of it in NA... Do we have new quest zone, is the story still evolving... If it's the case, I might be interested to put my time in long term.

This is neither pretty nor healthy:
I don't really think those examples work in favor of the argument your are making (to me anyway) and actually make it obvious how un-human looking the game models are. But that aside. I really don't care about what is the "norm" for society. I am telling you what I like. As for the last image, There is nothing wrong with her.

There's nothing unhealthy about that life model, she might be a bit overweight but she's not life threateningly obese. At least it's more realistic compared to Barbie's fucked up measurements.

And she IS healthy. As healthy as she wants to be if you have seen any interviews and such.
"This may hurt a little, but it's something you'll get used to. Relax....."
"I've done my own calculations and she definitely doesn't have the
dimensions of most people, but they are no means grossly abnormal"
You used her as an example of being obese!
Yes, just like people comment on models for being too thin, I am allowed to comment on models being too fat.
I have crohn's disease, I have very low body fat, according to European indexes and my doctor I am normal, yet according to some feminists, all of us are unhealthy. I would be considered too thin to even walk on a stage according to those people.
Somehow people who have low body fat are now unhealthy.....even though this is how it should be....very low body fat is normal, it is normal in our closest animal counterparts, people with very low body fat live healthier lives, and have far less medical issues.
Yet, apparently some people feel the need to call OBESE people "natrual"....obesity is not natural...it is not natural among humans, it is not natural among animals.

"Proportions".
Barbie's waist is exceptionally thin compared to her upper body. This is not to say there aren't people born naturally who have such a small waist but the issue is saying that this is what people need to aspire to.
The important thing to note is that people, in perfect health, have varied body measurements.
So it's more about having a good body fat ratio than "this is how your waist/thighs/etc" must be.
Can people be too fat? yes. Can people be too skinny? Yes.
Can you have really skinny people who are healthy? Absolutely. Can you have people with a few extra pounds be healthy? Yes absolutely.
But it is important to note when "skinny" and "a few extra pounds" become unhealthy.
As far as the art design in this game I have no problem with it. Though I did delete my female character and add slightly to her thighs as they seemed too skinny to my aesthetic taste. During the battle cut scene they looked like sticks and not legs.

That's not being a comedian, that's being a model.
That pic was a play on not being a model. It was supposed to be funny.
