New Player With Question About Servers

Hey everyone I'm testing out the DAoC trial and I like the game so far.

I just can't decide on a server.

My friend plays on gawaine ( around 700-800 population ) at peak times.

But I'm afraid there wont be a lot of people to group with and I was considering joining the Merlin server ( Like 2k people - 2.4k ). Is there population issues in the game to the point where I should join the highest population server to experience more of the game? Like grouping and such?

I just want to find a good server.

I would recommend wait until the new server come out the 14th but since you have created or whatevered to your account before jully the 1st its the 12th so i would recoomend go there alotta people your level around to group with because everyone will be new and hopefully they will all level about the same rate wich doesn't really happen but it could and i think with the new server although altternate rules it will be fun

I just came back from a break of almost a year when i seen the new server coming out so i knew that i would help me get into the community of the game becasue everyone else is

the thing with the older server is that alotta people already have level 50 chars so its hard to get anyone to group under level 30 becuse the people are mostly /level 20 and twinked with gold and good gear

imo i would go to a high population server (like merlin or lancelot). i play on pellinor and usually have a hard time finding a group, escpecially in the lower lv's. but after i went to merlin i was able to get a group in almost no time, starting from lv 1 all the way to 50 with no problems.
