Beta is for finishing and polishing things that have been locked down after the Alpha has matured into a feature complete Alpha.

Last time i checked, clickbait contains some form of exaggeration to make you click on a link that generates some form of revenue.
There is no hyperbole in this thread title. This is a question that was asked and answered by the team. In a video. The video is right there. Did you watch it?
So your claim of it being clickbait is simply wrong.

In this case, it's a fair one which is, "what would be people like to see be complete first?"
For me, full focus on the PU, getting the mini to a larger size, but feel at the same time it's pointless unless things are ironed out. Don't want to stake problems
But personally i think it would be a better idea to slay as many bugs as possible within the existing setting and then move on to the next set of tasks.

Most importantly: More than 16 people per instance since we have ships that require a crew of 25. Correct me if i am wrong @Erillion

The more they push out partially functional aspects (or say they are then delay them indefinitely) then state the focus is now on something else while also stating that technically they have met the requirement to consider something now in game, the more I recall Freelancer.
I'm very much in this game's potential customer base. I haven't committed for the simple fact that it is CR at the helm. The WC series was great. At Origin. With someone else running the show. Then, not so long ago, in a galaxy not so far away, Freelancer was going to be the BDSSE from Digital Anvil with CR calling the shots. While it ended up being a good game with lots of polish after Microsoft finished it up, it did start out very much like SC on the idea board. Oversell. Underwhelm.
Just no Microsoft parachute this time since publishers were the ones holding everything back before.
