there is a new mmorpg out and its completely free you just download the execute and play it is very fun and if its not in the game list go to www.mapleglobal.com the game is called maple story play it and youll love it!!

    Seeing any kind of anime just makes me want to cry. I'm not saying that it is a bad game, but my heart just can't handle anime.

    MS has been around for a lil bit its not THAT new. I think its a pretty fun game and theres a lot of stuff to do, very good for a free game. But it gets very repetitive at times and every character is the same at every level (eg. you will be the same as someone the same class and lvl as you.). Its a good fun game to play maybe if they opened cash shop it would be a little better... In my opinion I like the anime style and the 2d fighting, its easier to find stuff.

    I think they style is fun and goofy.  Whats wrong with most modern mmorpgs and thier unsuccess in the United States is that the style is too serious.  Numbers wise they don't lie.  The most popular mmorpg in the States is Worlds of Warcraft; and it isnt taken over-seriously.  In Asia the numbers really speak since the 2 most popular and record breaking number games are from Webzen and Gravity.  Both companies are known to keep things simplistic and even more childish.  I know many people may not like to hear this, but the anime style appeals to the more casual gamer, if the company making it put effort into advertising they would have record numbers in the states.

    the thing i dont like about maple story is the gameplay.if your going to make a mmorpg....dont make it a side scroller please.

    anime....image i dislike anime games with an intense burning passion.

    The anime style is actually for a younger audience not an older audience, like 8-16 year olds.  This is because nearly all the shows created for that age range are done in that style.  There has to be a reason why.  People in that age range typically wont be perusing the net for mmorpgs, instead they will be watching TV and playing console based games.  Thats why if you use the style its important to advertise unless your a well known company like Blizzard.

    Also an added benefit are lower system reqs then other full 3d games.  This could also be more appealing to the general consumer.
