Returned to this game due to the new expansion and loving it.
So many things you can choose to do and very immersive and maintains your interest.
Yes, you can end up spending some serious money decorating your stronghold, but you do not have to.
That was just me, and worth it.
I do not recommend the Lvl 60 character token, as it is only for new characters and not existing.
Thus, unless you already know how to play the class you decide to boost, dont do it.
LOVING THIS GAME!

What changed might I ask? I played at launch and the game was pretty attrocious in the game play element. Bugs, exploits, boring combat and pve, no variance or real content, maps remade in starwars skin of WoW's likelyness, my classes gear(bounty hunter) was the worse i've ever seen and I'd have to farm arenas over and over again.

It's still fun. There's a new warzone coming up in the near future too.

    You'll still hate it then.

SWG: JLS > SWTOR because when I want to pilot a spaceship, I want total freedom of movement.

It's a good single player game for the story. If it was KOTOR 3 if it had all the storyline without the themepark fluff.

I enjoyed it too for a short time.

When you finish the story in two days and you finish decorating your stronghold, come back with an update...

I've often dabbled with the wanting to return to play it some , except each time I've done it it actually runs worse than it did at launch for me. And I had a very high end system at the time , and currently have an SLI Titan X system.

I do a little research on the forums each time and there's always threads with folks with similar issues.

I don't know what they did , but I got no stuttering or "hitching" ( very small quick hitches running across the landscape) and far less "pop-in" of characters at launch than both times I've tried since.

Shame as likely would play off and on but the micro stuttering aggravates me too much.

Out of boredom I thought of returning but with my character list full and pretty much everything 50 or 55 I just hate the idea of dumping money for another sub (f2p sucks) and the expac when I know I'd be maxed out again on whatever main char I picked within days and then just rinse and repeat for all the alts.

I uninstalled when I killed entire groups of enemies in three shots without incurring any HP damage and only using 10% of my "mana". I need challenge in my gameplay.

Says the guy who creates a new thread every other day complaining  he hasn't spent a dime on video games on 7 years...

I just started SWTOR in January, and I can appreciate the problems of having a character maxxed out within days.  I've already got one max character, and haven't finished the class story yet.  The stories are nice, but there's just not many decisions to make in this game.

Some very nice visuals, and immense zones.

Logic, my dear, merely enables one to be wrong with great authority.

I don't think the game has got any better. It's different now, but I can't say better at all. For me, worse. Way to easy most of the time. My HK companion lost his uniqueness too. It's a shame, it could have been a great game is EA didn't' freak out when it didn't initially bring in the money they though ti would and made the game better. Instead they decided to go F2P and milk the cash shop.
