The Uninstall Option .......... nothing else to like , Bore Wars 2 is a terrible MMO in every conceivable way IMO .. Im just hoping it didnt set the entire genre back to far ...
I really wasnt impressed with GW2 either tbh.
Whew, I'm not the only one.
I honestly don't know what the big appeal is. Games like Tera, and especially BnS have ruined any mmo that doesn't have an action combat system, they are extreme snore fests to me now.

I actually liked just about everything about GW2, except I never PVP. The lore and world seemed mildly interesting, surprisingly. And I actually seemed to get some benefits from grouping up, in terms of fun.
But I saw no reason to play yet another WoW clone; I already am so invested in WoW!

I actually find the Guild Wars 2 combat system, barring relatively generic skill design, to be better than TERA's for the simple reason that TERA has excessive self-rooting skill animations, while Guild Wars 2's combat is much more mobile and fluid. Sure, its combos aren't quite as obvious or important, but that is where the comparison becomes apples and oranges.
Now, Blade and Soul has amazing combat and pvp. But what else does it do well?
No they are not. Any class can make countless combos all by themselves. Dual Dagger Elementalist count among the best pvp classes because they have some extremely effective combo options.

I just could not get into the game. I have gone back multiple times and tried but it just feels eh to me. I liked GW1 but not GW2 for some reason.
At least you're not like me:
LOVED GW1 HATE GW2
Kinda extreme, but it is what it is.
Works other way for me.
HATED GW1 LOVE GW2
Just be glad there are so many options for all of us to choose from. There is a game out there for you.
You could say that, but just because a game technically exists that makes him happy, that doesn't mean that said game is viable. I love Guild Wars 1. That doesn't mean that I'm still playing it. Because a MMO without a thriving community isn't functioning as intended. No updates. No healthy grouping. Oh, but it exists as an "option."
And that's where one should have empathy for other gamers, even if they want an entirely different type of game than you. You hated Guild Wars 1? So what? You have a game that works for you, and you can play it. Those that want the kind of experience Guild Wars 1 offered are still waiting in a ghost town for another game like it to come along.
For the record, I love both games. Guild Wars 2 does some things better than the original ever did. It's gorgeous. It has dynamic content. It's a world I've sunk thousands of hours into and still going. But no game has ever been able to live up to the complex skill system, the fair design, and the incredible pvp of the original.
