    Boost for extra in match xp advantage in a competitive game? Nice!!! Is there a new term for going lower than the lowest?

    People are so melodramatic....There is nothing wrong with Trion, and please enough with the Archeage references the game has gotten A LOT better but Trove and Rift etc they have some great games. If you do not like it then do not play it but don't post it here some of you are starting to sound like stalker ex's..

    I won't say it's a moba like game at all it more like XCOM type more then anything.

    And where did they copy "their" concepts from this time?

    Guess i will have to wait for DMKano to educate us about the total uniqueness of this..

    Lol, no need to do that, the game speaks for itself.

    As an avid Dota2 and xcom player I am all over this.

    At least you can't say that it's a LoL ripoff, or Overwatch clone.

    Actually what Moba did they clone? Hmm?

    Any chance someone will claim WoW clone? People still do that?

    Put the blame on Bill for this one. I don't know how it works but he made it sounds like just your team got it unless all 8 did for a super bonus. But people could have asked instead of going ape ****.

    As an example, earlier this month Trion tried to sell major negative changes to F2P players in Rift as major positive changes to paying members.

    I have nothing against a company trying to make money, but by announcing it how they did shows that they believe their entire customer base are idiots.  And shows an extreme lack of respect for their paying patrons.

    There is plenty wrong with Trion.

    That said, the world needs more turn based strategy.  Look how awesome Divinity Original Sin's combat system turned out.

    Lets go over this again, its really very simple. Whenever you are buying advantage it's pay-to-win -period-, it's just that simple.

    Ok let's see this : Team A 4 players use xp boost, Team B only 1 player uses boost. We know that the boosts stack, so team A has huge xp boost over Team B, what happens to team B now? They are behind xp curve and by leveling up faster Team A has more power to finish off B. So you tell me what's the problem here.

    This is a moba - so leveling and xp do not affect power of characters you play. 

    Do you not understand this?

    Xp boost has zero relevance inside a match, it helps you unlock other characters costumes and such outside matches.

    A team that is boosts 4 times vs a a team that has no xp boosts - in actual match there is zero difference, again because these boosts do not affect character power. 

    Mobas are about gameplay balance - anything that would directly affect gameplay would break the game completely. 

    They didn't do that. 


    The article says the boost is "inside game". But you are describing is like the outside game boost of SMITE which has no effect inside game. Just imagine what happens in a smite game if one team has all gods at 15 and opponent are all 8. That is what this boost is going to do, unless what is written in article is wrong or worded wrongly.

    Worst thing a developer can do is jump onto Blizzard's ship.
    Cheap low end graphics,trying to be cute "WS" rather than good,are just ideas that will push gamer's away and attract the little kids.
    Seems Trion sadly with some success on Trove is going to just give up on Triple A game design and go for the Blizzard Indie approach.
    The graphics alone are enough to steer me far far away,i don't want to feel like i am 12 anymore,23 maybe but not 12.

    Never forget 3 mile Island and never trust a government official or company spokesman.
