You stumble into an oasis; eyes wicked from the heat. A friendly voice touches upon your ears as the wind softly breezes your face and a cool glass of drink is offered to you. "Greetings and salutations, traveler, welcome to our humble abode here within the desert sands that may or may not have made you gone....mad! I know it sure has taken it's tole on us, but I digress, dear traveler, some drink and food or perhaps you are seeking conversation, or information about who or whom guard these waters so preciously from the use of those who are unknown. Alas! You have come to the right place and are speaking to the right person should you wish to join us in our plight.

 I am Musetta LeMure, a learned sorceress from a reputable school of...., yes of course I have a diploma! -gasps- Look at that! -points in the distance over your shoulder- Ahh, you missed it ...I swear it was a hawk, yes a hawk! Not to distract you further but, you seem to have a small friend. -nods emphatically, brushing away an imaginary bug from her own right shoulder- Scorpions don't make very good friends though...Questions? You had them? -smiles- I am here to help you in all your recruitment needs! For that is what I do, go out...span the desert, to find those who are needing help and wish to help others also and bring them back here to....well, rest.

We are a band of...misfits, outcasts, those who once believed in our cities, our government and people but now...though, we may still hold dear to these ideals; we seek a new life. One that brings peace and friendship, good trade and good times. Does that sound like you? Hmm...fill this out. -You are handed a scroll-

Well, of course we have rules. Every group must. Mostly, the main rule is...actually,... just read this. It will tell you everything you need to know about some of the things I have not yet mentioned -You are handed another scroll- with fancy seals pressed into the bottom with several signatures.-

How did you come to be here?

Unfortunately, not all stories end in happy endings but we decided to change that. She handed over the last scroll, nodding her head and smirking slightly. You'll fit in just fine here, friend. Watch out for those scorpions. They 'bite.'
