Are you saying RSI are money laundering?

You are really throwing that out there?

This isn't new....... you might think it's a joke but, unfortunately, it isn't....... As mentioned previously, this coming from the one accusing CR supporters of sniffing glue.....

Hey I never said you guys sniffed glue, I said CR sniffs coke. Well if it smells like a duck, walks like a duck it just might be a duck.

But really am not saying it is, and we may never know. Just looks like one.
Laundering implies transferring illegally obtained money into legitimate businesses and such.

Is that what you are implying Brenics?

That CR is taking money from organized crime and funneling it into SC, disguised as pledges?

They had starcitizen on click ( bbc iplayer)
     and from the report

a few things stuck in my mind

1/ so few people in the office like only 10 people working in the office  all sitting behind 3 monitors

2/ the office is still being built  i would have thought they   could have had it  built by now as they had the  first 10 million years ago

3/ they did mention they had 4 offices ,so if you had a tv crew comming to your office wouldnt you take them to the best office  the one which was the most set up and had a  lot of people working  in it . considering the report was also about the time the game was taking , no development  and people asking for refunds ectra

To answer the title as succinctly as possible:

At this point you are no longer funding the game but instead making some people really really fat and happy.

Are you onto something or just on something?

I believe Brenics is meaning embezzling.

That said. From the eyes of a company and it's shareholders there is never enough money.

In a world where money rules, why do you think it would ever be enough? Especially when there aren't any rules reigning them in?

What CIG has done in terms of generating funding is amazing.  But at some point it is distasteful to continue asking people to keep funding development.  The fact that they haven't frozen donations/sales at this point is a huge red flag to me.  It shows a lack of respect to the people that have already put in a lot of money that they continue to miss predicted delivery dates and in some cases expand the scope of the product.

They have no incentive to release a product anytime soon.  And they won't until funding levels start to drop drastically.

There is no "I have enough money" in the world.

There is always room for more, more, more!
    hold on their cowboy.

here is what I have issue with. this quote

'They have no incentive to release a product anytime soon.  And they won't until funding levels start to drop drastically.'

how is that not the same for every game ever? If ubisoft could do the same thing, wouldnt they?
Ubisoft has an incentive to release a product. How can you not see the difference?

you should change your topic to : after 100million and 3y development, they are still in Alpha 1.

C.R needs probably 10y and 400mil- by that time, he will ask for more funds, because there is this new shiny engine that will perform even BETTER (while the game still beeing in beta).

And the way to "get away with it" is by making all of the money appear to be "used up" or legitimately spent, so the accountants and the government and the "donors" don't go looking for it.

But if a percentage is getting skimmed at each level, and at different periods, then that can all go to the person running the show, without doing something so obvious as paying a bonus to one's self.

That is how large scale corporate embezzlement works if you want to get away with (only it is easier here, because there are no SEC filings and public earnings statements to worry about, CIG is not a public company, so there is none of that and no one to answer to).
