Can't Decide Please Help!

I can't decide between FFXI or DAoC. Both games interest me and I played the DAoC tutorial and I like it so far. I havn't played FFXI tho but have read forums and the game seems interesting with the dynamic jobs and world. I dont know enough about each game to base an opinion really and need some help on why you think which game is better than the other. I know this is probably a lame @ss topic and to each his own game but I need some facts about each game and why one game is better than the other.

FFXI is a "monster bashing" mmorpg, no player PvP at all.

DAoC is a "Realm vs Realm" mmorpg. You play on a "side" fighting the enemy, who are other players (and considered "monsters" by game mechanics, aka you cant talk to them). You cant attack people on your side. So that "leader guild" who thinks they know it all... you cant do anything about them, its either run over the cliff to your death or ignore them and lose anyway.. heh

Its depends on what you want, both games have hard restrictions to pvp combat (ffxi = no pvp).

FFXI quite literally allows you to make 1 character and have that same character master EVERY job. It's pretty hard to argue with that, and from what I've heard, the story and crafting in the game is pretty solid. DAoC is interesting, depending on which server you play. RvR (Realm vs Realm) is interesting, and the newest rule sets are a nice touch. In all honesty, you need to consider other factors. with FFXI, if you don't pay for your account for more than 3 months, they wipe it, and you need to buy a new copy of the game (which is lame imho, no other major MMO does that). With DAoC, it's primarily a PvP game, so if you don't LOVE PvP, and want to spend 90%+ of your time on just PvP, then it may not be for you. Also, if you're a fan of the Final Fantasy series' way of storytelling, you'll love FFXI. Hopefully this helps you out some.
