I don't use a mousepad.  I use a G13 gamepad and wacom tablet sometimes, a mousepad just gets in the way when you're moving things around, especially since mousepads tend to have a sticky surface, you can't easily move them about without lifting them up. I noticed I was using my desk as a mousepad most of the time, so my desk is my mousepad now, works fine.

To me this is a silly discussion. It's like what kind of air do you use to clean your case with?

Here is some reviewers' top 10

I would recommend the one I have, but I think they only come with Dell Alienwares which is where I got mine. It has a hard, smooth plastic type surface and the underside is lined with some type of rubber material so it stays in place.  I don't think it's really possible to wear this out since I have been using it for about 5 years and it still looks new.

I use a no-name mouse pad that's about 15" x 15". It has a cloth surface and less than 1/8" foam. It might have cost $6.00. I got a large one because I was tired of running off the edges of the standard size pads. I wash it occasionally with some soap and water. It's lasted at least 3 years.

The only reason I'm thinking of replacing it is because it's starting to look nasty.

Since my desk is unfinished wood (bought some oak board 2ft by 4ft and some studs and made a desk, I don't trust box furniture.) I use a cheap mouse-pad with a wrist pad I found at Big Lots for five bucks. Should I ever put a finish on my desk, then just a wrist pad.
