makes the update from Travelers pack to Explorers pack well worth it, the other stuff is also nice to have, but no neccesarity, another day headstart is also nice to have

Just a note on the horses...last day of CB2 I sold a tier 3 level 7 mare with no breed but could still be reset and the AH automatic price was a bit over 1 mil silver...so the horses add a lot of ingame value.

I'm sure I'm not the only one but horse taming and breeding is one of the side things I definitely want to do.

I got my tax return so dreaming of a tier 5 horse became a reality.
Otherwise, I was barely going to be able to afford the Traveler package.  Lol.

That surely can't last. Think on KR they go for 20k or maybe more.

While I assume some might pay up front, I'd image many will figure out it takes like 5-15 min to find/tame a low tier horse. Leveling them up on the other hand might make them worth a bit more silver.

Worth a shot to put a few up for sale at launch just to get some suckers though.

I think the price was a combination of her level, gender, and how many other tier 3's were on the AH at the time. No mares of any tier, no tier 3's at all and only a couple tier 2 stallions with no breeds left. None of them were leveled. Most of the early spawns were camped pretty steadily too, with the respawn timer set to 2 hours it might take a bit longer than that.
Tier looks funny when your type it too many times...

Ya, I'm sure those factored in. I'll put up a few up for sale just for fun to see what happens, but don't see it as a money maker early on as many will be coming in with Tier 3 or 5 thanks to pre-order and it is very easy to tame them regardless.

Gender like everything is very RNG. First 3 I tamed were male then got 4 females then 2 males. Or something like that. Eventually had to start releasing Tier 4s once I filled up a couple stables and didn't want to expand them further.

Curious if Tier 4-5 will be in the wild at launch or not. If not, AFK leveling some Tier 3s might pay off for breeding.

So just to confirm, does that mean you get 2 character slots with the travellers pack: 1 standard + 1 additional and 3 in total in the explorers pack (1 + 2)?

Standard slots is 4. So someone with the Traveler's will have 5, someone with the Explorer 6, and Conquerors have 7. The max slots per server is 9. (For now anyway)

Since the extra character slots have been included under "limited content" (AKA pre-order content) stuff, I imagine that once those packages go away tomorrow, the base game will be 4 slots.

Azaron is correct, but just to add you can obtain characters slots for either $6 cash or trade in 5000 loyalty points which take 50 days to earn assuming you log in once a day.

So its not showing the 2 character slots and weapon skin on the list under explorers package on website does this mean those are no longer included? If so then I guess I am going to wait for a few weeks and take the wait and see approach.
