Well, I've left CO behind several weeks before (hey, I'm a game-hopper), but with the bad LotRO news I just checked back today - and it was a lucky time to do it

Turned out there's a free AT giveaway now (and a pretty good one, might I add, easily worth the 10 bucks and even better for free ) that's always welcomed. Also there's an Onslaught week started from today with increased token drop, and - which is even more cool - one villain device per day, even if you're not a subscriber (that's a sub perk generally).
So, if you're curious about playing a world boss but are a free player and never liked the grind to unlock one, here's the chance. Usually there's only a couple one roaming around the world (since subs get only 1 run per day, and it's a grind to get more), but now that every player can access the system for free, Millennium City is infested with huge world bosses. Great sight.
Or for those unfamiliar with Onslaught, let me translate it to mmorpg.com terms: open-world pvp! With several million HP monsters against 10k HP players! Griefing and ganking! Huge fun! (sorry, I don't like pvp
