While I wish the quality of Star Wars: The Old Republic's class storylines were consistent across the board, it simply isn't the case. This week, we'll be ranking the game's storylines from the Sith Empire side of things. And yes, there will be spoilers!

Similar, IA is the best, hands down. I'd swap the Siths, SI is fun if you go light side, so it's better than SW. BH is the fourth, never was a big BH fan.
(and doesn't matter how Lucas editing the sh.t out of New Hope, Han shot first )
I don't care what anyone says this is the funniest cutscene ever.
I rank the rest : sith warrior, sith inquisitor, BH.
EQ1, EQ2, SWG, SWTOR, GW, GW2 CoH, CoV, FFXI, WoW, CO, War,TSW and a slew of free trials and beta tests
My tip for anyone starting the Agent story would be: know your character's motivation. Where *are* your loyalties?
I tried leveling as an evil Jedi warrior but the Jedi are so freaking dull I had to quit.

thats it, because that is all the sith classes in the game. . .
(sith=/=Empire) P.S. change the misleading title
2) Dark side Sith Warrior
3) Dark side Sith Inquisitor
4) Dark side Imperial Agent
5) Light side Bounty Hunter
6) Dark side Bounty Hunter
7) Light side Sith Inquisitor
8) Light side Sith Warrior
In War - Victory.
In Peace - Vigilance.
In Death - Sacrifice.
The experience has been permanently boosted. You can just do the main class story and solo a heroic now and then to keep on level. I recently went back for a month and I was well ahead of the level by just doing class story and the heroics. The heroics give you gear so I never had to do anything else.
Back on topic I would rate it:
1. IA
2. SI
3. SW
4. BH
Boobs are LIFE, Boobs are LOVE, Boobs are JUSTICE, Boobs are mankind's HOPES and DREAMS. People who complain about boobs have lost their humanity.
However, I will humor you with my impressions of each storyline.
Sith Warrior: Cartoonishly evil. Remember that old cartoon character in the 1920's who used to tie women to railroad tracks and then stand off to the side twisting his mustache and cackling evilly? Well that pretty much wraps up the Sith Warrior story in a nutshell. Honestly just skip it and level through PVP if you just have to have a SW character in your repertoire.
Sith Inquisitor: Evil for evil's sake. Nearly as bad as the Sith Warrior but less mustache twisting and more in the cold calculating range of Anthony Hopkins in.... well any movie that he's in, but mostly Hannibal Lecter. You basically murder, death, kill and torture your way through a dozen planets while treating everyone like fresh dog poo. Surprisingly, no one ever gets tired of your shit and ends your life.
Bounty Hunter: Jet packs. There was a story? Sorry, I have jet packs and wrist mounted rocket launchers. I think I just shot anyone who attempted to open their mouth and start a story. I also PVP'd mostly because this class was horribly OP in PVP at launch.
Imperial Agent: This was probably the only story in all of SWTOR that I was even remotely invested in seeing unfold. I liked the IA male character's voice actor, I liked the way he could shit talk Sith and get away with it, I liked the double crossing and it was the only ending I didn't see coming by the end of the first chapter.
Sith Empire.
As far as the OP goes, I pretty much agree with that ranking. Both Jedi classes are pretty good too. Smuggler, Trooper, Bounty Hunter all not so much.
I'm all about lore /story, but still I have to disagree (somewhat). There's an another thread around here about handling the story in multiplayer games, and how is it tougher than singleplayer ones. TOR's class storylines are fairly good - in mmo terms True, not as good as TSW for example (I think the narrative and the writing style is much better there)
Also disagree a bit with the book examples... (never was a Simmons fan, I prefer the classics)
I too love the Dune cycle, and Herbert has a unique style (Ragnar used a few similar technics in early TSW, and in AO), but if you want to put up an example for writing, within the genre, I guess Bradbury would be a better fit, he was a great writer in the very sense of writing. As for world building, Asimov was better, and for the "sci" part of the genre (new ideas, directions, etc) I'd say Lem or Clarke over Herbert.
But yep, Dune is awesome, just re-red the six books a couple months ago. (don't like the Anderson additions though)
Agent is definitely the better storyline, even when you include the Republic side, after that i would rank second place as Sith Inquisitor, followed by Sith Warrior and then Bounty Hunter.
The things i like about the game is a combination of the humour and the often ambiguous moral choices you sometimes have to make, regardless of whether you choose Sith Empire or the Republic.
Empire Side:
Sith Warrior
Sith Inquisitor
Bounty Hunter
*Haven't Finished Imperial Agent*
Republic Side:
Jedi Knight
Trooper
Smuggler
*Haven't finished Jedi Shadow*
As an avid defender/supporter of the game, I've always said the writing in this game is better than the films and I would love to see a film based on KOTOR era.. I say the best story I've finished was Darkside Sith Warrior.. I hear a lot of people say Agent, but I'm about 40% through Chapter 2 there, so maybe it'll change.
Darkside Sith Warrior just feels so good. Showing no mercy to any that had the unlucky fortune of crossing paths with me. Fun times
NO RETREAT FOR THE EMPIRE!
