Simple fishing for beginners

I think I finally have the hang of the fishing mini game so I don't have to just AFK fish.

1. Press space to cast and wait for a bite
2. When you get a bite you'll get a message to press space to start hauling it in - just tap space, don't hold it.
3. You'll see a horizontal bar, red on the left and blue on the right. You want to press space when the moving indicator is in the blue. If you catch on the far right, you'll get a "perfect" and that's the end of it... you've caught it. Now just press "R" to put it in your in your inventory. If you catch it in the red, you loose the fish and if you catch it in the blue the next part of the mini-game starts.
4. For the next part  you'll get 2 or more of the WASD keys shown on the screen and you have to press them in the right order left to right. If you do it right you'll catch it.
5. When you catch the fish you'll still have to press R to put it into your inventory. If you don't, you'll release it and loose it.

There is also "AFK fishing" but it's much, much slower. All you have to do is do step 1 above and just let it do its thing. The reason it's slower is because after you get a bite there's a 3 minute delay before it auto-catches it and puts it into your inventory.

There's a lot more to it... better fishing rods, bait, getting a boat and finding a premium spot where you can catch very rare fish, harpoon fishing, fishing costumes that make it go a lot quicker, etc. Also, you can fish anywhere there is water... ocean, ponds, rivers, creeks etc.
