eq 1000+ days /played wow ~300 days /played diablo2 probably 100+ days eq2 ~100 days /played
And of course a million other types of games 0-2000 hours, all the way back to the Amiga and Arcade machine days. A few honorable mentions, Dungeon Defenders, Creeper World, Sid Meyer spawns(civ, rrt2, col), Warcraft 2 & 3, Baldurs Gate 2, Descent, Simcity(s), Settlers 2-3-6, Lemmings, Might and Magic 1-7 & HoMM(s), Emerald Mines, Crash Bandicoot, Gran Tourismo, and totally oldschool Mario marathon weekends. Closes lid on /coffin, oh the days where you had to type in your own games from a magazine, 12 pages and then the huge rush of pressing return to see pong, but only if you typed all 12 pages correctly and your mom didn't pull the plug saying "go outside and play, your are getting square eyes".
Skyrim, Wow , Hearthstone and warthunder are the only games iv put 100+ hours into, of course im not counting anything from childhood, Im pretty sure mike tysons punchout-tecmo bowl or even mario bro's would be up there as well.
Sid Meier's Civilization Civilization III Civilization IV Civilization V World of Warcraft Quake 2 Formula One Grand Prix Dune 2 Fallout 1 & 2 Doom Final Fantasy VII & VIII Hired Guns Dungeon Master
Warframe Marvel Heroes Binding of Isaac WoW once upon a time FF14 ARR - The main story just clicked with me unlike more recent FF offerings Morrowind - my longest played of the ES series Link to the past - probably played through it 10+ times Any Metroid game (never played other M)
Final Fantasy 11, Lord of the Rings Online, Guild Wars 2, Final Fantasy XIV and now The Division
I played many mmos but those are the ones that kept me playing the longest. I like mmos with an emphasis on story. I can name a lot of single player games as well.
Every week I would run around looking to see what new resource spawned. I played that one for over a year and after that, I have never been able to enjoy another MMO for more than a few months at a time.
"Sean (Murray) saying MP will be in the game is not remotely close to evidence that at the point of purchase people thought there was MP in the game." - SEANMCAD
Mega Man Series Diablo Zelda Series Metroid and Super Metroid Diablo II Castlevania series - mainly 1, 2, and 3 and SOTN Torchlight Torchlight 2 Civilization IV Ys Series Seiken Densetsu Series Path of Exile Binding of Isaac Grim Dawn
I play MMOs with a guild typically, so my enjoyment of these games relies more on other people than myself (and a friend or two), and pales in comparison in terms of hours played.
EQ1, DAoC, WoW were the most, a few others like eq2 had quite a bit of time.
Non MMOs
Probably the game I played most on a console is Chrono Trigger. Still have it for snes, all characters and attributes maxed out. Although the cartridge wasn't where I thought it was when I moved last year heh. Played tons of other RPGs, breath of fire 3 probably my number 2.
On PC
Love the Heroes of Might and Magic series, played from 2 on up. Really liked 4 for a long time, but think 5 turned out to be my favorite. 6 was meh, but 7 is actually pretty good, after waiting a few months for updates lol.
Oh, and Civ IV, my favorite of the series.
Currently, not really playing MMOs, but have a lot of console and PC games I got great deals on that I've been going through.
Okay, so I'm totally just mind-eyeballing this as these are not all on Steam or what have you, but... as I recall...
Vendetta Online World of Warcraft Escape Velocity (series) Assorted Multi-User Dimensions Realmz Morrowind Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade: The Graphic Adventure X-Com: TFTD X-Wing Glider Pro Crystal Quest Lode Runner Red Baron (1990) StarCraft 1 & 2 Warcraft 3 Goldeneye Mario 64 Final Fantasy VI Chrono Trigger Chrono Cross Tekken Tag Tournament Tekken 2 & 5 Virtua Fighter 1 & 2 Street Fighter 2 Turbo Super Mario Bros. 1 & 3 SSX 3 Amped: Freestyle Snowboarding Phantom Dust Massive Chalice Halo 1 & 2 Far Cry: Instincts Star Wars: Battlefront (2004) Knights of the Old Republic Jade Empire Civilization 1 & 2 Master of Orion 2 Falcon (Mac 1987) The Ancient Art of War PT-109 Kroz SimEarth Marathon Minecraft
...all of these I feel confident I've spent tens of hours playing, although I'm probably missing some. The top four I've spent hundreds of hours in, and Vendetta I've played well over a thousand hours.
There are many, many other memorable 'interactive experiences' I've enjoyed over the years that lasted for less than 20 hours with me. These are all weighted differently to me, but the above list gives you a rough picture of the 'time sink' games I've played.

WoW by far. Not because it is the bestest game ever, but because i've played it for years with rl-friends. It was a very tight and social small group and gaming was never the same after "life happened" and eventually one after another left.
I've invested time in a number of games, too. If I were to list the ones, over the years, in which I've logged the most actual time, they would be EQ, EQ2 and any iteration of Sid Meier's Civilization releases. I'd say I got my "money's worth" from scores of others, but those I listed were literally in the thousands, if not tens-of-thousands, of hours.
Eq 1@2 ,Wow,Lotro,Guild wars2,Swtor,Aoc.Vanguard,Black Desert,Eso ,Diablo3,Football manager,Grim dawn,Titans Quest,Heros of might and magic 1 to 7 ,Banished,Ultima Series ,Skyrim, all the Wizardry series @ all the Bards Tale and just about every other Dungeon crawler to name a few
