Yes the game looks sweet to some degree, up close sure it has nice details and sweet graphics but you cant really say overall graphic is gorgeous due to view distance sucks really bad, you either have it blurred out or if it's not It's very pixilated and poor AA you cant really climb up on a mountain and say damn what a view It's all a blurry far away and no details.
You got flickering shadows and object sometimes popin, there is so many things that really kill the overall graphic experience, as I sead sure up close and you are standing still looking about 20m infront of you it does look sweet, try climb a hill next time and try to enjoy the vista.

Many people just dive into a game without looking at any of the settings or config options for the game. Sounds to me like many of the common BDO complaints arise from this approach.

Yes I'm serious, sure you can see far but it aint pretty.
I have evrything on max except high end mode, I didnt notice much of a difference with it enabled only its a fps hog.
Yes up close, objects far off are low rez and pop up if you ride fast or even at some places when you run.
Hell even BDO own trailers shows that.
And still,
Black Desert's visuals blows all other mmos out of the water.
Not really.
TIP: High End Mode=Improved Distance=View Distance. Use it. Don't come here and complain because you didn't max your view distance in settings.
You having problems understanding what I wrote?
Disagree with everything you said.
ESO has better lighting in outside areas? LMAO
ESO and The Secret World both look like average console games.
And still,
Black Deset's visuals blows all other mmos out of the water.
I've watched quite a few videos on this game and scrolled through hundreds of screenshots. If this game is anything at all, it's great looking. In fact, I'd say that compared to the vast majority of MMO's out today, it's fantastic looking.
This game's "issues" as far as I'm concerned lie with core game choices, the cash shop, and some of the game mechanics but certainly not in graphics department.
However i have not bought it as i dissagree with the pricing structure. They seem to think that the dollar is worth the same as the euro (thats fine as there more or less the same) but to class GBP the same worth is not right when it means a 50% increase in cost to us.
So with that, i am with all the other GBP people and not getting this game as it would be $45 to us and not $30
I'm from europe so I get your annoyance but sadly it's been like this since forever. Even subscription prices are the same regardless of your currency.
