DAoC was : non messy RvR with permanent siege battles and holy trinity. Not only that but you had 2-3 healers per groups and very refined strats with Bodyguard + pbaoe comps, caster comps, melee assist comps and many more... Now you are comparing this masterpiece of PvP game to BDO which has no trinity, messy PvP with clipping and weekly only castle siege ? Hurts me to see such comparison...
as a side note the trinity is WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY over rated, I say this from experience
I personally love it, matter of tastes I guess.
I am willing to bet a paycheck that you havent ever played a balanced combat without the trinity so you are not aware of anything different.
I'll take that bet, and you can hand me a paycheck because I still like the Trinity
