First... this is a bit of a hassle at first but once you have 100+ contribution points it gets a bit easier. There is a daily quest available from the leaders of the three cities of Velia, Heidel and Calpheon (dailies reset at 7:00 PM EST - 4:00 PM PST in NA) where you need to temporarily rent an item from them and once the item is in your inventory right clicking on it gives you a quest that you can turn in immediately to the same NPC.
Renting the item in Velia costs 30 contribution points and rewards a black armor stone, in Heidel 60 CP and you get a weapon black stone and in Calpheon 100 CP and you get one of each. You can only do one of the 3 quests each day, not all 3. As soon as it's done you can return the rented item and get all of that CP back.
The hassle part is that especially early on when you don't have a lot of CP, you'll need to get it by disconnecting nodes where you have invested (just take care not to mess up your crafting nodes this way) and then you'll need to go back to each node you want to reconnect.
Like I said... a hassle. But if you're black stone starved, it may be worth the running around for you. I have done the Heidel one 4 times since the drop rate of weapon black stones is much lower than the armor ones.
Of course if you have un-invested CP to spare, it won't be much hassle at all. You decide if it's worth it to you or not.

IDK the perfect solution but to me continuing to play a game for the purpose of gaining Silver to spend forever upgrading gear is a complete waste of time.I game to have some fun not grind out some stat numbers.
Sorry to sound negative on something you seem to like but i just look at gaming in a realistic manner,i don't get caught up in meaningless fluff,i game to simply have some fun with challenging combat.99% of this game defeats the purpose of a login screen,it is pretty much a single player game.
However to support your thread in a manner of speaking on the topic of rewards ,there is a special item you get at each 10 levels. That item is some kind of letter you can trade with a friend or other players. There is a small % chance you can get some good rewards from those letter trades, however you have to be careful to not get scammed.
Never forget 3 mile Island and never trust a government official or company spokesman.
He's just telling us there's a daily to get stone/s for free ontop of being droppable from monsters.
As to those reward letters, I don't bother trading them - there are people using that as a scam already - I just pick someone who has whispered to me with some help and send it to them... shrug.
