Unable to remove Forum Signature

I have a forum signature setup as an image for Albion Online.  I would like to remove it, however every time I go and delete the text in the profile section and click save, the page refreshes with the same text in the box.  Even if I change it to X-fire, the same thing happens.  After hitting save, the page refreshes and all the txt is still in the box.  

I am completely unable to delete the txt.  Why is this?  How do I resolve it?

You're likely following links from mmorpg.com main page, and end up on a page for editing your profile on on the old mmorpg.com forums? If you do that, it won't affect your settings on these new mmorpg.com forums at all.

Try to edit your signature on this page: http://forums.mmorpg.com/profile/signature

Thanks MikeB, I believe this is fixed thanks to Vrika's instructions.
