BDO... will fail

I bought the Conq Pkg had high hopes, but after spending many hours of game play I realize this game first off doesn't have a community... and after playing many games like Aion I can see this game crashing hard on NA servers with a SPAM OF GOLD SELLERS... UGH!! 

~ you can farm for hours gain mats, build boats, but if you try and list items on the market you will probably be selling these items at a loss... also the fact that I personally enjoy buying low and selling high makes the market a joke its all controlled by Daum. 

~ no trading with other players... so your out doing a quest and you can't give your friend wolf blood to get a alchemy quest done or if you put it on the market its again selling at a loss cause you had to invest energy to get the stuff and if they don't put in the number codes to prove your not a robot in time other players can buy it out before they even get a chance.

~ Pearl Shop ... yup so they say its not P2W thats a joke... gilles suit is a item on the cash shop where you can't see other players name you blend into the forest but you can't aquire them in game... same for the swim outfit its a p2w also as other players have to gather for hours, get contribution points to build a shipyard to make a boat when others can simply purchase a outfit to swim. Also the character creation is amazing but if you look like all the other witches on the server why even bother buying a outfit ... if they wanted to make money lower the prices and offer more skin choices ppl like to look different 

~ PVP ... read the forums its going to be a gank fest of the best guilds and Gatekeepers who are also on the KR servers are here on the NA servers so if your hopes are to be top dog think again... the best spots like bosses or dungeons will just end up being a gank fest. 

I truly thought this game would be different, hmm maybe Crowfall seeing as their video says its not P2W.

Yup I thought ppl should know what its like after purchasing the best pkg, hey ppl should try it out and see what they think I don't believe you can always agree on how others see a game.. I thought it wasn't going to be P2W and if a player has an advantage to buying something from their shop then that is clearly P2w

i heard they sell exp boosts. that might qualify as bit of p2w especially in a game without a level cap. atleast if you keep increasing in power with each level.

Black Desert is pretty far from p2w.
If you don't appreciate the game for the wide range of things that you can do then the game is not for you. Black Desert requires you to become an inhabitant in a virtual world and you can play it any way you want. 
I enjoy the gathering and crafting, the trade routes are outstanding, the way they deal with market value. This is a world with a market system and a trading strategy. Hunting the different mobs to get the best kill score you can is also a really nice touch. There is a myriad of things to do in Black Desert and there is a learning curve to it if you want to experience the game for the adventure/life that it is.

- There's no gold seller in BDO, only scammers. They do that in all new games. All they want is credit card numbers. The morons who give in for that scam are part of the video game Darwin law.
- I'm selling items on the AH daily with great profit.
- The no trading is annoying, I grant you that point, but it's definitely not game breaking.
- There's nothing P2W on the pearl shot, no, not even that ghillie suit. And the fish suit is not even remotely close to a real boat either. Swimming != being on the deck of a boat.
- The PvP part is only baseless assumption since nothing like that is happening in game yet. There are several ways to avoid gankers too.

I already got 100+ hours of gameplay out of BDO, that's $1 per hour. And I still want to log every day and play. Well invested money for me.

PS: and you had to post this twice to get attention, right? The second time as a thread with an attention whoring title. Didn't notice that immediately or I wouldn't even have answered.

You are correct, we do love freedom.  The linear quest hub themparkers have had 10+ years of games developed to their tastes.  People that want freedom have had.. Darkfall and Eve and ummm during that time.

I don't like people that play the market and I don't like "playing the market" so this game is great.  I do think some of the fixed prices are way too low for really rare items, but that's a minor complaint.

No one is making me use the cash shop and the prices aren't that horrible.  The sieging portion of the game isn't that terribly important at this point (not even sure if it's in yet) and there are no player run cities...so I can't cry too much about PvP and the cash shop in this game.

1. You can have your workers gather (most) of the mats for a boat and build it then sell it for 1.5 million. No loss involved there and many other crafted products are the same. Another example is beer. It is a joke to make but it sells like hotcakes. You can make 1000 and turn a 600k profit on something stupid easy to make.

2. You can trade certain things with other players. Cry more. This is a game where there are so many other ways to make money other than buying low and selling high. What the game is shit because you can't utilize that the way you want to?

3. If you think a suit that provides a degree of camo is P2W you need to re-evaluate your life. It does nothing to increase the players stats or skills. Open your eyes they are not hard to see. The fishing suit comment is an absolute joke. It does not provide you anything that can't be attained in game. 

4. It is a pvp game.....if you are going into it with the idea that you will be good to go by yourself or in a tiny guild then you must not understand what a siege would require. The school system of your country failed to properly develop your brain then.

Go vote for Bernie Sanders because he will keep you safe.

All the not so obvious add up to P2W but the blind can't see it until 50 plus.

Up until level 50 plus it is not P2W

However,  the pet with experience boost and karma recovery add up to significant advantage since you shave off hours of grinding experience and recovering from karma losses alone

Since buying and using ET negates experience loss it makes sense to invest in ET so when and if you meet your fate you can negate the loss and move on.

Is there anything significant? not yet just the not so obvious.

Hahaha I am sorry but how long have you been playing MMO's?  Reason I ask is because if you've had ANY experience playing them you would know that gold spammers are in EVERY MMO on the market, just some companies deal with differently then others.  Welcome to the current generation of MMO's, where communities are slim to none.  The trading aspect is kind of annoying but I can also see why they did it.  On another note, I am enjoying this MMO far more then any that have come out in the past 10 or so years.  Finally a game that doesn't shove quests down your god damn throat and allows for you to progress by killing monsters in the world.
