What are you trying to get at with the whales and the 24k analogy?
I'm enjoying this game and it's very new so I thought I would post here to try and get it some exposure.
I thought this was a good forum to post at.
There are some idiots on this forum. Don't pay them any mind. They think that any game even one made by a single person with no advertising should get thousands of players immediately upon being made.
I think it's pretty cool. I tend to get addicted to phone games though, so probably won't try it.
Haha this IS a phone game if you have an android device. I was just showing in the recent post that you can also play it on computer if you download BlueStacks.
If you have android, download it from the Play Store, it's super addicting.
Update 1.5.91 (This is update may come before or after the inventory update haven't decided yet)
What's included?
Players who are currently fighting other players won't be allowed to log out. Why? Right now if you attack someone or someone attacks you, you could just close the app and wait for that person to leave. How does it work? When you are attacked or you attack some other player a timer will appear on your screen telling you how much time you have to wait until you can safely logout, if during this time you close the app your character will remain connected to the server. The duration of this timer will depend on whether you are an innocent or a cursed player.
Cursed players won't be allowed to leave the PvP zone. Why? Because if you attack innocent players you better be prepared for what is coming. How does it work? If you are cursed you can't leave the PvP zone as simple as that, if you are killed while cursed you will return to the town but once you enter the PvP zone again you won't be allowed to exit it.
Update 1.6.0 The Inventory Update
What's included?
Inventory Why? Well this a must have. How does it work? A new item type will be added: bags/backpacks, the better the backpack you have the more slots you will have to carry items. Backpacks won't stack meaning you won't be able to store items inside a backpack that is inside another backpack. The 'Equipment' menu will become the 'Inventory' menu.
A new way to pick up items. Why? With the addition of inventory you may not want to grab every item you step on. How does it work? When you are next to or on top of an item a new button will appear on the screen (and disappear when you are not) by pressing this button ONE of the items next to you will be added to your inventory but only if you have free slots. Gold will be retrieved the same way as before or using this new method.
A new merchant npc will be added. Why? We need someone to sell the loot to. How does it work? When you talk to this npc a screen containing the items you can sell will appear, selecting an item will show its details and how much you can sell it for and buttons to confirm or cancel the sell.
Changes to the skill level formula. Why? Right now skill levels increase really fast that it doesn't feel like an achievement (In my opinion), also this will help with balancing player battles and smooth out the transition between hunting in one zone and moving to the next one. Also in the future I want to add attributes to items for example a sword that has +2 melee skill if skills stay the way they are now +2 is not really that beneficial and I want you to look for these special items with good attributes. How does it work? You get to keep the skill experience you currently have that is not going away, the formula that calculates your skill level based on that experience is what is changing. To give you some perspective on how big this change is gonna be by the time this update hits no one is going to have a skill level 200 or more.
Changes to the damage formula. Why? Weapons haven't been added to the formula and the skills formula is changing. How does it work? If you have an appropriate weapon for your level this change is not going to affect you too much, you should be able to deal more or less the same damage as before. If you have a weak weapon... well you should look for a stronger one.
What may or may not be included?
The npc mentioned before will also sell some items. Why? If you are unlucky and can’t find an item you can buy from him. How does it work? Pretty much the same as the current merchant but this one will change its stock from time to time (Probably every 6 hours) and you must have available space on your inventory to buy something.
Items with different attributes. Why? Because is more fun, you will have to decide which items fit your play style the best depending on their attributes. How does it work? There will be different variations of the current and new items (rings, necklaces, speed boots , etc) with different attributes like speed, luck, critical chance, melee, distance, magic, defense, etc. (If you have more ideas for item attributes please comment below)
Storage unit (Depot) Why? With the addition of more items you may want to store some of them and free some of your inventory slots. How does it work? A new building will be added to the town that will contain boxes/lockers where you can storage items from your inventory or retrieve items from your storage to your inventory.
What’s NOT included?
The trading system. Why? This is going to be a big update and I first want to make sure everything is working properly before adding the trading system, if you want to give away items or “trade” you will have the option to drop items from your inventory to the ground.
Other future updates will include: (Not in specific order) * Guilds * Quests * Friends list * Items upgrade system (something like crafting) * In-app purchases * Bosses * More customization options * Minimap * Bigger map (Islands) * And the obvious things more items and monsters (with new abilities)

The base damage of all weapons has been increased by 10 this is to make the transition between zones smoother, the damage formula was adjusted accordingly.
The attack and defense of all monsters has been recalculated to replicate the difficulty the game had before the inventory update and to adjust for the new potions.
The defense formula was also changed to something similar to what we had before the inventory update, the formula post inventory update was too overpowered.
The archer’s spell was changed to shoot a maximum of 3 arrows and its damage was increased slightly, archers were too overpowered and we all know this, 74% of players above level 150 choose archer as their primary class and this was obviously not intended, with this update I hope to see more high level knights.
Level restrictions for items
Now all equipment items (except the first set) have level requirements, if you equip items that require a higher level than your current level this will have low armor or attack and you will see this in red in your inventory.
New zone, new monsters, and new items
Added 5 new high level monsters in a zone much bigger than the drows area, these new monsters drop a complete new set (no rings or necklaces yet) and new weapons which have a much lower drop rate than items from drows.
New merchant
The new merchant is here and he is what you would normally expect from a gear merchant, he sells low level equipment and can buy all your items.
Player stores
Player stores are really easy to use, to sell an item tap on your character, tap on the ‘Add item’ button, select the item you want to sell, choose a price and tap ‘Add’, this item will become visible to other players who tap on your character. If you equip, drop or consume one of your listed items this will be automatically removed from your store.
New health potions
Two new better and more expensive health potions have been added, to use them open your inventory, tap on the potion you want to use and tap on select, you will see the health potion icon change on the main screen. I suggest buying ‘Super Health Potions’ if you want to go to the new zone.
Changes to distance based monsters
Archer and mage monsters were a real trouble for knights, with these update distance monsters won’t change their position as often as before and won’t run so far away that they disappear.
Timer for changing servers
A timer has been added to avoid players who are constantly changing servers which adds unnecessary work to the servers, especially the database server. You can still change servers to see who is online but you can no longer use server changing to hunt on the same spot (or to bot).
Automatic logout
The server now automatically logs you out after 10 minutes of inactivity, this is also to reduce the work of the servers.
Training skills while cursed
It is now possible to train skills while being cursed, this was removed in the past because people would just afk for hours while training skills, this is no longer possible due that you have to deal damage at least once every 10 turns or you will stop receiving skill experience. You still don’t get skill experience from attacking other players."

What is it about the game that you find enjoyable? So far, we don't have much info in this thread other than that it is a "retro 2D mmorpg" with some screen shots, copy-pastes of dev logs, and updates on concurrent player numbers and downloads (which, quite frankly, are nearly meaningless). This game is on my radar because the above Google user apparently review-bombed a wide number of apps (including my favorite game) for not being synonymous with his favorite. This is really lame on all sides, to say the least.
What is it about the game mechanics and community that makes you enthusiastic?

I talked tot he Dev earlier and he said there was 48 people on.
Ok, 48 people may not be a lot but it's only a few months old and it's an indie morpg.
