Err, well that depends alot on what class and level you are, and how much money you have to start with. If you have a few million lying around and would like to turn it into more millions, taking up a craft like goldsmithing and raising it to the higher levels is a great way to make some serious gil. If you give some more information, maybe someone could suggest some better ways to make money.

he does have a point about being a certain lvl but you can farm crystals about 3 times in game i think when you start, when you hit lvl 18 and start lvling up your secondary class, when you get the lvl 30 classes and have to start them. Crystals are some good money but there is better or you could buy fake money with real money

ok well im 40 whm and 20 every other job i can lvl to any lvl within a month if i want i know lots of 75 whms used to be 75 blm till i lost account i got arround 1mill and im lf a way to make good money even if it dangerous

Let my try and make some sense of that jumble of oddly placed words. You say you've had a 75 blm but you don't know how to make money? That's....odd. I also don't understand the comment about knowing many high level white mages, as healing from powerleveling isnt that great past mid game. If you would like to speed level and cheaply, best thing to do is be a bard or rdm and just hang around in arrow burn pt's.

Anyways, none of that was really on-topic so I'll try to help. As a level 40 whm you could always just port for cash, it's easy and allows you watch some DVD's while doing it without anytrouble. You make about 500-2k per person you port, and there is always people shouting for them. White mage isn't very good at normal farming of things like Tabers and tigers and such, so unless your in the 55ish ranger with a thief sub, I'd put that on the backburner.

You could try and get some BCNM 40 going on, the Worm one needs a whm for bar spells usually, and the sprout one just needs 2 of Rdm/whm/blm/smn, so you could try and get one of those going. If you do your orb your loot, you have a change of making a million if you get a Ni or a bit less if you get erase. You can probably get a guranteed 300kish if you do 6 way split, which isn't that shabby either.

Again, if you have a few million lying around, or is given to you by some of your high level friends, I suggest you dump it into a craft. That will ensure you so nice, steady cash flow once it is raised high enough.

I'd advise against NM camping, since IGE has a strangle hold on that market, and will mostly result in boring hours of you spamming your flash macro for hours and not getting anything of worth.

Also, a million gil should be good for a whm, since there gear isn't that expensive. (Unless you're an Eleven or Galka, in which case you need that Mp gear.) You could get to 60 fairly easily with that much cash, probably higher since whm food is cheap.

My advice would be to port people in Lower Jeuno for cash while looking for pt's. It'll give you some cash to buy new gear as it comes along. White mage AF is decent for the most part, so you can just sell your old gear back when you get it, and put the money towards some of the better rings, earrrings, ets, that aren't needed, but are nice.

i make money by killing giga's in lower defulct tower and getting northern fur and selling them for 12k each. Another way is by selling what u buy for more .e.g. u buy lvl 17 armor for 5k each then sell then for 6 or 7 k each!!! it really works. . i got 80k by doing that and saving money not buying anything from lvl 17 to lvl 15. GL getting the laods of money!!!
