Amity for dummies

The NPC Amity mini-game in BDO can get confusing and has a lot of detail and permutations. It is also very useful if you want to get gear for your horse, Yuria weapons, the new Grunil armor, etc. much cheaper from an NPC than from the marketplace.
You can fumble through it and get enough success that you don''t really need to understand how it works to get by. But then, you run into a tough SOB like Mevo Muranan in Altinova, the blacksmith who sells Grunil armor.
He's tough regardless and if you get a "fail to spark interest" of more than 2, you might as well just escape right out, waste your energy and try again. Words to the wise: with him if you can get +50 in one or two tries, just take it and run and don't try to get lucky on the third try.
