to be fair I think (based on my limited personal experience and people I
know) that people who really like Skyrim as one of their favorite
games, typically arent the kind of gamer who looks for narrative or even
knows what the Narrative is in Skyrim
The entire premise behind Elder Scrolls is a series of interconnected narratives that form a world with a reasonably consistent and complex lore.
So you're saying people who like Skyrim don't really care about the lore of Tamriel. That's interesting.
Given how heavily modded the game often is, players in Skyrim tend to just do their own thing, whether there are quests or not, tends to be irrelevant, same with the lore, or even the games storyline, players are often too busy to even bother with it, its because the game is so open ended that it became this popular, and there are so many mods that just playing the base game, is probably something a very small minority of players actually do. There are probably several books in the game that contain the lore of tamriel and the various provinces etc. but other than whether they are a skill book, or for the value of the things, monetary value that is, i think they are mostly just used as shelf decorations
Given how heavily modded the game often is, players in Skyrim tend to just do their own thing,
Yes... yes they do.

Exactly thats why I posted it. Answering his poll means you agree there was a catastophe lol
Which, as far as I can figure out, has something to do with cats and obscure scrabble words meaning sandstone.

Yes i would buy one and plan to,it is DOOM because Carmack is in charge not Zenimax. The new Doom game looks really cool. The mmorpg genre is near dead across the board,so don't let that discourage you, there are lots of good single player games.
Never forget 3 mile Island and never trust a government official or company spokesman.

Well, he "was" in charge.
Like Skyrim? Need more content? Try my Skyrim mod "Godfred's Tomb."
I voted NO. I will not be negative and detail why. I have already done so many times in the past. Looking forward....I anxiously await Camelot Unchained beta...which seems to be very close. I stopped playing about the end of year 1.
ESO has been a failure in my eyes since beta, too many limits, I can't even launch the game now since their last update and yes my PC has a DX11 graphics card as a company don't think they can be trusted its been over a week unable to play ESO.
