This game is a poor excuse for a game.I downloaded the client and got a 3 day free account. It takes forever to get from 1 point to another when you first start because you have no $$$ if you're on a trial and havn't payed yet. Since you have no money you can't buy a hoverboard so you have to go places on foot. "Tbucks" cost real money, wich is retarded. Hoverboards,jetpacks,dunebuggies, and hovercars are boring to drive and the paintball games are also boring. If I wanted to play paintball I'll play it in real life. There's(no pun intended *hur hur*) no point to this game or a reason for it to exist.

    BobCrazyton,  STFU!  If you couldn't get your two cents in on the "People Come on....."  forum, then dont' start.  That was a place where alot of people were just picking on Joel because he likes There.  Well here it is, I'm stamping it out.  He stood up to everybody and did well despite the fact that most of the flamers digressed into name calling.

    Bob, I have just one question for you... Are you that dumb? Use a map! Now where do you get off with not being able to get any where? There are volunteer newbie helpers all around There all the time. I mostly am on Paiz which is the landing zone.

    I give out tours and tips. Here is one, when in a chat group press "delete" to get out! Now get out of There unless you have something nice to say. We don't need people like you who complain about There being some anti-social drug. We have enough of that and its hard to deal with.

    I have been in There for over a year! Some people have been in There for over two years even. You are getting annoying, and you are hard headed. I am just so happy that you can report people, that is like the greatest thing in the world. Directly to There, Inc... Great!

    I am gonna post some pictures of There here in awhile. The tropical main land is not the only place. We have Saja, Tyr, iVillege, Astrology Temple, Nada, Motu Motu, ect... I should of stayed out of this thread. I knew i'd need advil after posting. Thanks Bob, thanks indeed!

    I loved There in Open Beta, I used to spend hours making a race track for people to come to. Got a lifetime pass so I will always have an account. Problem is from what I can tell no one goes to events anymore :/, and I can only make so many tracks/paintball zones before I get bored. I don't consider There places to really be content, I go there, I take a screenshot, I leave. There needs something fresh.

    I think half the problem is that I don't know anybody anymore, out of my buddylist of 50+ people only about 3 of them still play, and I can't even remember who these 3 people are :P.

    EDIT: Apparently alot of them went to Second Life, I thought about trying it out but they wanted to throw me in the kiddy zone because I'm 3 months from turning 18 image.

    No, but there is a position for Community Manager that I want to look into. First i've got to move, and then I can be close to what I truely like. My current job is monitering servers and bossing people around basicly. Its all volunteer work, I help new members out and bring them into There!

    Every game has its fanbase, they can keep loving and praising the game no matter what. I mean have you heard of SOE gamesimage. It's not a bad thing, in fact I wish I could be like that, never get bored or frustrated or have any doubts about the games progress/future.

    I tried There a while ago and did not like it much, i felt There was limited and empty compared to second life also everything looked to cartoonish, but a 3 day trial is not enough to be able to really try it and i haven't spend  that much time in it so i cant comment at all on it.

    Also i was wondering if you were limited to use there paint ball system or car system or you can script your like in SL?.

    No cerrently you can't script. But that does not limit our designers at all. They animate stuff instead of scripting it. I saw an animation for a small doll walking. Also the paint ball system is not limeted at all. We can set and create rules for a match and so on.

    The viechle system is very powerful. We can design Bacios, Hover Boards, Hover Bikes, Hover Boats, and Buggies. We can change the shape of any viechle to suit our needs. I have seen a fleet of ships similar to that of those in Battle Star Galatica used by Cylons.

    We don't let any limitation in There get in our way. Also can you please remove the Second Life link? This a There discussion not a Second Life discussion. So if there is a way to create something we will find it! In reality there is no limitations in There.

    Also wanted to add that the first few hours you spend in those game can seams very pointless and confusing since there is no goal nor way to win the game lol and that is why most people leave after less then an hour and have no idea of what the game is and have to offer. that is an other reason i cant relly comment on There.
