Bless Online is coming to North America and Europe and will be published by Aeria Games according to a report by Steparu via Inven News. There is no information about when the game will be headed this way, but the thought that it is probably in the near(ish) future is pretty cool!

    That's a big nasty surprise. Aeria Games is the last publisher I expected to pick up Bless. I seriously doubt they can handle such a high profile game. Yeah, Bless is pretty generic looking but it's still way better than anything AG has published so far

    Well i don't think they will do any worse than the other publishers that bring eastern games to west. But of course i am never touching any game published by Aeria or PWE again.

    Where can I pre-order all the XP potions, speed boosts, +1 strength potions, +1 jump potions, upgrade gems, scrolls of instant teleport spells?

    Great another game to pass on just because Aeria has decided to host... Incoming huge P2W/Paywall cash shop.

    It is not like other western publishers are not selling power on cash shop in their eastern imports but the biggest problem with aeria games is their crappy servers and for every lag related problem their excuse is : "We are currently suffering DDOS".

    I could actually see this happen. You can buy stuff from cash shop already in kr but doesnt make huge difference since u get that stuff faster by doing game stuff. In korea u get lots of cash shop gems by doing quests and aeria games will propably remove that haha.

    But all the purple gear in that game is bind on pickup + u have to craft it yourself. You need to gather crafting stuff from pvp, world bosses and dungeons to craft armor and weapons. So maybe its not gonna be p2w.

    They might find a way to remove the gears from game and put them in cash shop instead. They did it with Shaiya, in KR Shaiya top tier gears were all boss drops but in NA they were only found in cash shop. Not to mention that they also decreased the drop rate of enhance mats to the point where farming them was nonsense and buying them from cash shop was most reasonable and also they removed the even most basic enhancement stones from vendor and put them in cash shop. But i will say it again, their biggest nonsense is their crappy servers and their excuse for every lag related problem : "we are being attacked by ddos", Aeria wants to tell people : "we are so popular that people ddos us every week, we are sooooo happy"

    Aeria is known for being very business/money-making oriented and their games are either pay to win or pay to have fun . It's a pity that they get to host it , must've paid really well.

    Lets see what happens to this. It's just Aeria games models are pretty bad.

    Bless already have stamina potions to be able to do most activities in the game beside questing, its the worst sort of microtransaction model for mobile games and to do interesting things in the game you are expected to pay constantly.
    Iselin: And the next person who says "but it's a business, they need to make money" can just go fuck yourself.

    I wish another publisher would have picked it up. Aeria games tend to have costumes with stats on them that are cash shop only, crazy potions in the cash shop, enchants that hardly work unless you pay real money for better chances, and tons of pay to win aspects in general. I was hoping it was any other company actually.

    I've heard good stories about Bless, but with Aeria Games being it's publisher I'm not even gonna give it a try. Could they have picked an even worse publisher for EU/NA?

    Of course they could.

    For instance they could picked R2games as their publisher...


    Btw, for me it's more like a desperate measure by Neowiz because western current competition and plenty of upcoming MMOs make them can't be picky enough to select a publisher (a lot of big publishers here in NA/EU have their own hype of MMO).

    Aeria Games has deep pockets and is linked to ProSiebenSat.1, so I believe they simply made the best offer. They also did (and still do) a lot of tv ads for games like Echo of Soul in Europe.
