Well someone mentioned comics and my brothers X men was really the only comics I have ever read. Rogue was super strong, very hard to hurt, she flew, and she could suck other peoples powers out making them weak and her stronger.
That with her kinda dark twisted side from all those personalities in her head was pretty neat to me when I was younger.
true enough old school rogue was pretty cool but she was always all lonley and ^&*( and was complaining about not being able to kiss gambet... On that note why isnt gambet on the new Xmen??
