Anyone else getting this?
I am using Chrome but it also happens in IE on Windows 10.
I cannot be certain but it seems to be trying to open a pop up or display some sort of Ad and just hangs. I saw something along the lines on I.Brend.com (it quickly displays at the bottom before switching to processing data and hanging.
OK now it is hanging at 'openning secure connection'....I am not happy about this so it someone could let me know what this is asap that would be great. Will not stay on site till I know why this is happening

at 1 point it was hanging while trying to connect to Facebook....I don't even use facebook so I think this must be trying to work out my advertising needs from my online profile....fuck off!

Follow me on Twitter if you dare.
I am not saying that this is not on our end but given @GrumpyHobbit is the only one reporting this so far I would just urge you to check to see if this is not some other malware agent on your system that is the culprit - I see this all the time and have had this crap installed on my system without my knowledge when installing "free" apps, etc.
I will keep trying to hunt it down. In the meantime, if anyone else can reproduce this let us know.

I'm assuming you did all the normal maintenance stuff like flushing your cache and getting rid of cookies, right?

You likely cannot replicate it because it does not happen everyday but it does happen and when it does it takes like 30 or so seconds to load the page even though the page says loaded in 1 or less seconds.
Only thing that makes sense are two things judging from what i have seen elsewhere.
1 Loading cookies, they can lead to lag but seems to still only happen once a while, not often.I know this is fact as i have literally seen it with my own eyes on POGO.com.Everytime i see massive lag,i see the new cookies loading,so perhaps certain ones or just some bad setup on that particular day or trying to load too many.
Pogo always runs the same except when i see those 100 or so cookies trying to load and it is at that exact time so makes it rather obvious.Weather this is replicated on everyone's end or just for some i obviously don't know but on pogo i have had others make the same claim at the same time as me.
2 The other time i have noticed an anomaly is when seems to be some bad html/network coding.I know it is bad code because the actual error code eventually shows up as the whole webpage tries to load and does not load only showing the coding.
I would say it happens about once every 2-3 weeks,so like i said not often and why you can't simply replicate it,you would have to see it when it happens.Obviously bad coding will cause loops and hanging.

Fell back to v7 and everything returned to normal.
I'll try WIN 10 if it ships on my next new laptop .
