Callus faced MMOers. Not sure with current tech this will work. I would love to one day.

    ho the humanity!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    how horrible is that...

    lol

I look like that after riding my motorcycle for a few hours. goes away in a bout 15 mins
Big differance... You ride a motorcycle a few hours a week. You strap VR on your face a few hours a night. I have a buddy who did motorcross and used to spend 20-30hrs a week on his bike. He had face calluses. Even after he quite they were there for years.
    lol..

    no he did.

I ride ever day for 5 years no calluses. calm yourself

Please do not respond to me, even if I ask you a question, its rhetorical.

Did a quick google search and here are 2 forum posts of people from wearing masks for many hours have persistent marks on their faces. Took years for my buddies to go away.

certifiable horseshit. I wear a full face helment nearly every day for years and I never had a problem that lasts for more than about 15 mins. People wear construction hardhats for 8 hours a day 5-6 days a week for decades and that shit is made of hard plastic and its not a national issue. its horsehit I dont care what troll is claiming what

oh the humanity of it all!

Not something i would have considered as being a suitable source to add to the argument tbh, cpap has come a long way over the years, and they aren't that intrusive these days.
Thats not to say that there aren't issues, and as was demonstrated, if unintentionally, at the last E3 was that hygiene is also a critical factor in avoiding problems from long term and 'frequent' use of the device.
I think eventually the headset will be much smaller, and lighter, and less likely to cause pressure sores etc. particularly for people who have sensitive skin, which will probably be the case more often than not, but these are things that will be addressed when the VR devices eventually go mainstream, at least i am assuming they will, if they don't then it probably won't matter. Nope , no headset wanted on my face , etc.

Sounds like the OP didn't actually want to know about folks opinions as he can't stand the ones already saying no.
huh? what makes you say that :skull:

my only gripe about some comments (not that i mentioned it) is that people that moan about wearing the thing, feeling sick and the price etc makes me think these forums are full of jobless hypochondriacs granted they are legit things to some to cause people not to buy a VR headset but im not one of them ill will buy it and enjoy it about as much as i do my PS4 which is about playing it once in a blue moon probably with friends getting drunk and having some fun, i believe these VR headsets are a prelude to whats to come i fully expect in the next few decades this technology will gradually work its way to sword art online style VR but its got to start somewhere i mean just look at how much gaming technology has improved in just a mere 30 years or so...

Shits gonna be good ! i just hope im alive long enough to see it :D lol !
