On this short list I am waiting for Pantheon.  But in actuality, the (within two years) upcoming game I am most anticipating is City of Titans.

The world is going to the dogs, which is just how I planned it!

I've backed Pantheon and Camelot and I'm sticking with those two.  Key things they have in common are veteran directors from first-gen MMOs and a "modernized old school" approach.  I think they'll complement each other really well; I could easily see myself staying subbed to both side by side, playing Pantheon when I want PvE and Camelot when I want PvP.

    Pantheon.

I'm interested in its claim to return to slower, more tactical based combat.  A focus on PvE.  Group friendly with class interdependence and with complex and varied skills / spells.  Their claim that raiding will not overshadow grouping and that there will be actual reward for the risk(thinking of 90% or more of EQ's overland content that had virtually no reward other than XP gains).  The hope that they will create as much if not more content, skills and spells that are not combat related like EQ. Best of all, no infantile cartoon graphics.

Pantheon first then SoL a close second. Not really interested in the rest. Elyria's pricing model has piqued my interest but other than that (which in a way sounds like a gimmick) nothing else has really hyped me about it. Crowfall and Camelot are PvP focused... hell, reading about Camelot sounded like a Warhammer Online remake in a different setting. Hope its good but not for me.

Gorgon is B2P (iirc) which is a deal breaker for me for this type of game (sooo sick of cash shops). Aside from things like open skill trees and non-guided questing, it still feels like solo-friendly incredibly easy hub-to-hub questing from what ive seen. Saga of Lucimia and Pantheon promise the same but on a sub model and greater emphasis on group play and open world sandbox.

On the other hand, Lucimia is second because it has a 100% 0 tolerance group oriented philosophy that I believe may be going too far. Pantheon is the only one whose philosophy not only wants to revert to old school challenging group-oriented style of game play but is also open to some newer features and innovations so long as it doesnt hold your hand.

All subject to change (although doubtful). If I ever do buy any future MMO, itll probably be either Pantheon of SoL.

none .. why do I have to wait for games that may or may not be released when there are so much ready-to-go entertainment?

Heck, if I have to wait (which i probably won't), i would much rather wait for a game with a firm release date (like Dishonored 2).
    Some people have standards xD

There are so many girls out there but you don't fall for  all of them correct ? hehe

Personally I don't want to waste my time on mediocre MMOs I'll rather focus on real life while waiting for dream mmo ^^
lol auto correct must have gotten him.

Which ever one comes out first . .. which would be what do you think??
I think CU and Crowfall will be soft launching before the others.

Real life brings repetition and pointlessness too. The only thing real life offers is Great graphics. Its kinda expensive too and way to dependent on the cash shop. Totally pay to win as well. No thank you. Ill stick to my games.

You might enjoy Pantheon on a PvP server. I've played just about every pvp mmo in existence, but everything paled in comparison to PvP over content and progression (EQ). One can only fight over the same territory, castles and keeps for so long before it loses its luster.

What did I do? I may have been clever by accident. :chuffed:
Haha you named all games that weren't on the list. For what's it's worth I'm playing gorgon and it's a cool game but I didn't include it (among others) in this post because it's not at the forefront of the new sandbox games coming out.

I'm waiting for whichever one will prove to be a working formula months after release cuz I tend to play fewer games for years. Game hopping is not my thing. Best case scenario two of those three games to have successful formula, worse none, but even if that's the case I always have options to keep myself gaming.

Leaning towards CoE atm simply because its the only one on Unreal engine 4 which is pretty amazing tbh.

CoE for me. If they deliver on what they are looking to do then it will be very near my wishlist for an MMORPG. Pantheon is next in line and I think my friends will be Pantheon addicts.

    Camelot Unchained and Crowfall. <3

    CoE
    Project: Gorgon
    Camelot Unchained
    Crowfall
    Shroud of the Avatar

Not in any particular order and I have backed all of them. Currently in pre-alpha Crowfall and think they really are making something really special, if they can deliver the full package of course, the basics seems solid though.

    Some people have standards xD

as if everyone should like the same games as you do.

Heck, lots of people here like PoE, Marvel Heroes, .. and what are they .... f2p games.
Exactly...not everyone is like you jumping from game to game for short amusement session. Most people here like pure MMORPGs which is why they wait for these games.

Stop pretending like you do not get this already.
When did i ever say no one likes pure MMORPGs and want to waste (oh .. i mean spend) their lives in a single game?

But it is also fair game to point out what I like (just as everyone else), and also what I think the market likes.
