Is anyone here actually gonna try this game again since the new company is taking over???
I personally liked the game and the concept.......just sucked that so many people didn't really like it that much and the game died....but like i said I LOVED the crafting system in the game and the lvls how you can level up to 120 in adventureing and all and in crafting and you can have all the crafting classes but only 2 adventure classes....
I hope this game gets revived.....

The game is still alive and kicking. A loyal core and developers stuck with it through the hard times, and put a lot of effort into improving it. It will be here for the foreseeable future. There's a free trial here, so give it a try.
You'll experience a culture change, since WoW is like a megacity, and Horizons is like a small town. But you may get addicted just like I did.
Glad you like the game, including its concept
I wanted to take a moment to clarify some points you raised. You can indeed have all the crafting schools as you point out. You can also have all the adventure schools if you like, not just two. The limit on adventure schools is imposed by an adventure rating, and if you are willing to spend long hours every day for months, then it is indeed possible to get every adventure school (except Dragon Adventurer, for obvious reasons ).
The level cap is 100. There are some players who desire a simple raise of the level cap to 120, but personally I prefer the approach being taken, whereby existing game content is being revamped alongside the preparation for a more intricate system for the level cap raise. I much rather that they do this, because firstly it makes the first 100 levels in a school much more enjoyable therefore reducing the desire to 'grind', and secondly it means that the elder game content will be much more than just another 20 levels to be ground out.
Crafting system, it's awesome, and keeps on getting better
You can can have EVERY scholl except dragon adventureer adng et them all up to lvl 100???? If so that would be awesome, and yes I LOVED the crafting system in it.
Like i said I play WoW and I am gonna be trying EQ2 hopefully tomorrow.
Maybe I will talk to my dad in to letting me get 1 more game on a monthly fee charge :-)

If you're running a bi-ped, yes, you can level up each and every school, both in adventurer and crafter. This will increase your rating. Once you reach level 100 in each school, you cannot advance beyond that point...but you can switch to another school and work on that one. The more levels you have, the higher your rating. There are, at present, two rating 200+ players. It takes a long time to reach that rating.
Soon enough the Master resources and processing forms will be implemented. After that, the level cap will be raised.
Cool, like i said i might be talking to my dad and seeing if I can add another subscription on to charge:-) I currently play WoW, jsut started in EQ2 :-)
Cool thx for the info guys.
