Seige Elephant PVP

As you know, Valencia, Sieges and most importantly elephants are coming to BDO.

Won t argue someones crap is anothers home, but definitely not hating as holden seems to think, just pointing out what I think is crap, BDO is definitely that to me. Only refund outside of BB I ve done in all the years of my gaming which started with the Vic-20. Sorry if you can t handle someone not loving your game, but yes that video reminded me how over the top annoying with animations, and terrible combat (to me) is BDO. Like it or not, that won t change.

Nope, could care less who makes it, it sucks to me plain and simple.

If combat changed it would be a step in the right direction, but we know that won t change. Won t lose any sleep over it though.

Overwatch chars would be better yes to answer that.

Last one was homemade, no meme, just the emporer thinking, "WTF" in response to the idea of Overwatch characters making BDO a better game.

BDO would be a better game if it had pvp, no desync, class balance, less harsh RNG, field boss's that had mechanics instead of teleport one shot, actual gear selection, cosmetic customization outside of cash shop, PVE content that made sense, a non communist marketplace. Also that elephant is just...no words....it's so lame.
For reference I have 5 characters over level 50, one I actually played to level 55 and have over a 300 gearscore.

i'm not even level 15 yet and i'm already sick of looking at that wizard/witch robe.....

Dude, how can you think the elephant is lame.  It's a huge seige monster that does extra damage to seige structures, you can ride it and fit two people in the back to throw spears at people.

Plus you get one by taming it and raising it at your guild house.  And you can armor it, too.

You can't really see in that video, but the elephant stomp and the spears do lots of damage to players.

I just think it's really cool that a regular MMO seige battle can be going on and then all of the sudden there's this huge crazy elephant rampaging through everything.  I really can't wait to see one in action.

Or you can just take one to a city's arena and mess around with it like here:

I dunno, getting one-hit killed by a huge AoE attack that doesn't even look graphically impressive (or have a very impressive huge booming sound effect) seems pretty lame to me.  Instead of some awesome giant shockwave or earth quake or something, it was kinda just a "thump. Everyone dies." kinda thing.

I mean, I just recently got back from playing Hyrule Warriors Ganon's Fury mode where you play as friggin' Ganon (not Ganondorf.  Ganon, as in, the huge giant final boss demonic boar) and his attacks where he smashes the ground, claw swipes entire armies away, or sends every enemy flying just by running makes this elephant look really lame in comparison to me.

They need to make that stomp have a more impressive sound effect and shockwave effect and the trunk swing more massive or something.  *shrug*

If you made it to level 55 and couldn't find the PvP you're either not trying or leveling at 6 am on weekdays in the lowest population channel... well... that or you fished to 55.

He or the spears don't one-shot, or at least they don't one-shot the person in the second video.  They do a lot of damage though.

You don't want it wiping out entire waves of enemies.  Seiges should mostly be about players fighting eachother.

You also don't want it being too graphically impressive.  Seiges are already going to have a very large number of people on the screen and be prone to lag.

Anyway, I've never seen anything like it in an MMO.  I've seen seige vehicles in Archeage, but not a giant mount that can seat 2 other people granting them powerful ranged attacks.

Guess you can't satisfy some people no matter what you do.
