    Normally if it's the next in the series I've been playing I go for it but this is a case of nothing was broke so lets fix it anyway. I'll probably wait and see on this one.

    Is it still going to be just as pretty when release day finally arrives ?

    Or is this the "awesome trailer footage" that gets severely dialled-back for actual launch ?

    When I think of Bioware I think of really pretty hallways and good stories, i'm sick of the hallways.

    I like the trailer, its in the tradition of the previous ME games.

    Which is a boon and a bane. From the hype i expected MORE of that trailer. Something really new and groundbreaking. THAT i did not see. I DID saw a lot that i like.

    They are speaking about a whole new galaxy to explore. Is that market speech for "procedural generation" ?

    Sounds like the humans are the "Reapers" in that game and the humans are the invaders, while aliens desperately defend their home against US, the dastardly evil conquerors .....

    Becoming "New and groundbreaking" isn't some sort of Holy Commandment. Plus in game series like ME it doesn't bode well most of the times. Bioware excels at creating worlds and telling engaging stories, that's what ME was about and this is what i expect from ME Andromeda. A world i can lose myself in featuring a well told story and memorable characters.

    There is absolute no need for Bioware to complicate things by taking the "new and groundbreaking" route.

    So will we be invading a new star system and setting-up a base and then conquering all as we expand, either by extermination or co-opting them ?

    PS: With Bethesda announcing upcoming VR game play for Fallout and Quake, can EA/Bioware afford not to provide similar features ?

    This looks great.  I loved all 3 ME games.  While DA:I was a good attempt.  I didn't find myself replaying it after I finished it like I did with both the other games(DA:O, DA:2).  I hope they find a great balance between DA:I and ME3.  This game has amazing potential.  My biggest concern at the moment is whether or not my current PC will run it well lol.

    Mass Effect with space exploration. Alien aliances and wars.... This looks good to me.

    Agreed, their two forays into open world thus far have been rather dull. Both DA:I as well as TOR, had boring OW experiences IMO.

    It isn't the next in the series from what they have put out so far.   It is a new beginning with a entirely new crew, IE no Shepard.  New hero.  More than likely it will still play similar to the other 3 games but it isn't a continuation of the last 3.

    Sucky trailer, didn't do much to get me hyped. I hate these behind the scenes look at people sitting at computers.

    Just show the game.
