Yeah I am glad to hear it is on HTC VIVE instead of OR.
    Epic Sig btw =)
You'll be able to play it on Oculus - VR games through Steam dont DRM like Oculus are doing on the Rift. Beth may try to add DRM, but I doubt Vive will bother.

Now, Beth may optimize and build the game around using a Vive (no motion controllers on Rift yet), so any bugs and quirks that may crop up in an Oculus playing it will likely have no official support or fixes is all. But it wont be blocked as such.

Also, Zenimax and Oculus are currently in a lawsuit, so Oculus is just being ignored in favour of rift i suppose.

    LibreateVR, Viva la Revive!

Brenics ~ Just to point out I do believe Chris Roberts is going down as the man who cheated backers and took down crowdfunding for gaming.

How come Bethesda didn't get the news that VR is dying and just a fad?! They don't read forums?

I'm going to buy a Vive just for this. I will probably need a puke bucket too.

Sure they do, but they have a few people here blocked so they must have missed it. :)

Interesting, good to know. I have no plans for an OR but still nice it is DRM free. Which is odd for Valve lol
Zenimaxs story: John Carmack was working on VR with us and he stoled the code and started his own company

John Carmacks Story: I was working trying to get Zenimax remotely interested in VR and they could not give two shits about it so I left.

I have no doubt I am missing parts and I have no doubt someone will tell me what I missed in an asshat manner but that is an FYI to get you started.

Have fun with Vive its an awesome headset

Please do not respond to me, even if I ask you a question, its rhetorical.

I mean, to be fair this isn't like they're releasing a VR Standalone game.  It isn't Fallout VR.. it's fallout 4, a game that most people have already bought and played (at least those that are excited enough for the series that would purchase it for VR).

I think we'll see a few "ports to VR"  and as I haven't tested it, and neither has anyone else, I'd go out on a limb and say, if its nothing more than an expanded First Person camera view and new mappings to a different controller, than generally it would be quite simple to have several hundred games "optimized for VR".
