I was playing BDO and there were some players hacking vendors, when nearby some other players clipped through the ground, and I think the combination of these things sent a surge of bad programming through my internet cable, which caused an electrical fire in my computer. Fortunately, I smothered it with a wet flannel.
Obviously I don't want this to happen to my replacement computer. Does anyone know how to prevent it?

Good thing I bought a sturdier desk afterwards, or I'd have been there again too!
