Hello Steam Sale, my old friend
I've come to spend money again
Because a discount softly creeping
Left its 75% off while I was gaming
And the Steam Sale that was planted in my brain
Still empties my wallet with the sound of Steam Summer Sale
In restless games I walked alone
Narrow streets of indie-games
'Neath the halo of Greenlight
I turned my wallet to the cold and empty
When my eyes saw Steams catalog
By the flash of a Flashsale
That split the my wallet into two
And touched the sound of Steam Summer Sale
And in my nakedness I saw
Ten thousand games, maybe more
People buying without knowing
People spending without reason
People buying games
These games no one ever knew
And no one dare
Disturb the sound of Steam Summer Sale
"Fools, " said I, "you do not know Summer Sale like a cancer grows
Hear my words that I might teach you
Take your wallets away so that they do not reach you
But my words like silent raindrops fell
And echoed in the empty wallets of many
And the people buyed and played
To the neon Steam God they made
And the sign flashed out its warning
And the words that it was forming
And the sign said, "Your bank account is fucking empty, stop buying useless ass fucking games"
And whispered in the sound of Steam Summer Sale
