Black Desert Online: New Content

New continent is out!? Or is it?~!? Nope, only the seaport for now.
Just a short tour of this new area, I brought up the world map also.
There are a couple quests here and an underwater mask...?



New update is now live! Underwater mode time~!
Some new changes to swimming, no more red potion fever.
Instead, you get 95% movement debuff when you hit 1% stam.



Riding the new battleship~! Not enough members online to hunt.
The 2nd half of the video is the long ride to the new area.
It takes over half an hour to get there using the NPC boat!

    Looks awesome!
    The underwater area's very pretty, but I wonder if we'll be able to do more than catch some sea stars. Otherwise the novelty will wear off pretty quickly.

    Also... here's to hoping for better underwater breathing alchemy potions. I think the ones I've made in game lasted five minutes or so. Then again... the way that person was swimming would hint that it'll be possible to stay underwater for a good while. (Unless that lame suit gives them unlimited underwater breathing >.<)


    Edit: I missed the mask comment. That would explain it!

    Oh man, with underwater areas to explore and the fish suit making you swim faster, it's only a matter of time until people cry that the game is P2S (Pay to Swim).

    This game offers a great sense of adventure... to bad the RNG, awful gear system with cash shop cosmetics, and terrible crafting system ruins the experience. RIP Black Desert for you shall never be reinstalled :(
