The new AtV 3.1 takes a closer look at atmospheric flight in Star Citizen (Timestamp 3:15)
Besides that, one can also see quite a wide variety of procedurally generated landscape in that report.
Do you personally prefer spaceships that look and feel aerodynamic and have no problems landing on planets with atmospheres ? Or are the more pure-space-craft your kind of thing?
Personally i am a fan of ships that look kind of like a sleek aerodynamic Lamborghini.

I think they should get their stuff together and delay stuff like this until the core game is in better shape.
Look especially at timestamp 1:00 .... this looks a bit too simplified for my personal taste.

Star Citizen may look better graphically, but flight in both games look to lack realistic movement and momentum. At least to me. I thought it might have been due to applying real "space physics", but movement within the atmosphere in that video looked just as awkward as ever.
See call of duty infinite war or whatever its called for an example of proper flight that looks fluid and to adhere to the laws of physics.

so .... The second picture, but with a Leopard Class dropship (if we use Battletech lingo).

The flight looks good, definitely not where they want it, but it's heading in the right direction. Without actually flying a ship in atmo, it's hard to really get a feel from the video.
