I've been watching this one for a while, through the silence after it was announced.

Excited to see it moving forward. Microsoft, and their MMO history, backing it has me a little reserved. If it makes it, this could be the game in my future.

Think it was initially announced at E3 in 2015. Got quiet enough afterwards that I mostly wrote it off and I'm a pirate game nut.

From the initial announcement I got the impression it was going to be a sandbox where you had tools to help create your own story/backstory. Not sure if they are sticking to that recipe, but it looks good nonetheless. I hope they do though.

Thanks for the 2nd video.  I'm curious if it's a persistent world or a lobby type game with a low limit of total players in one instance.

I'm not usually a fan of "cartoony" visuals in my games, but this one looks very appealing. Will definitely be keeping an eye on it.

So I'm forced to play with other players to even sail  a ship, don't get me wrong i love working with other players but it has to be on my terms when I need and have the time for it.
In SoT I'm forced to join a player crew and forced to login a lot to even be part of sailing a bigger ship than a row boat or I'm basicly fucked and cant do much ingame.
